The best value for money is still a level 4 trainer.

Level 6 and 7 are a waste of money.

Not many teams starting out can afford level 5 trainers. The difference between 4 and 5 is an extra 2-3 weeks worth of training a season so you're looking at an extra pop or 2 in skills. As demonstrated in other threads, 4 is still the best unless you have a massive training regime and all your players for that position are trainees

Thanks! I appreciate the advice as I'm new here also. The threads I read all suggested a level 5 trainer which costs me quite a bit (in salary but not in bidding as I bought an expensive trainer). But I'm glad to know it's not worth buying a level 6 or 7 trainer as I thought I'd need to do that soon as well. Since my trainer's salary has escalated to close to $50K per week, is it worth it to downgrade to a level 4 trainer and a cheaper salary?

Honestly you shouldn't be complaining. I have a Level 5 trainer and trained inside shot for 2 consecutive weeks with no pops ( Yes I know my trainees are 21 and 22 but at least). Its karma.

I say it is definitely worth it. It is costing you 50k a week for a lvl 5 trainer.

I got my lvl 4 trainer @ 11k a week with a sign on fee of 1k.

Now the question for you is that for the 2-3 extra weeks of training a season, is it worth an extra 35k-40k a week to you?? which over the course of a season amounts to almost half a million. Which you can better utilise and spend on an extra player.

All of your guys are growing, just only one reached the next level. There is a decimal point that you can not see... If a player has a strong( 8.0) and you train him he will go up to like a 8.6 for the 19 yr old..So, even know it still says strong, it is more like a stronger strong. peace
