You do realize you are forgetting a bunch of other elements......hence it's never just the things you can control

GS, enthusiasm, PR guy, HCA, the GE is random enough where this is the 1 out of x result where the home team wins.....

Or maybe you are mis-reading the situation. You shot close to 46.8% (55.3% adjusted) in the first half compared to 38.2%(43.1% adjusted) for the game. Given the defensive ratings i put up and how your offensive ratings weren't lights out compared to it, 38% seems like the more typical % which implies to me your team overperformed in the first half, and was merely regressing to the mean in the second half.

Circumventing my initial point....

Hey I remembered those elements...we had roughly equal GS, enthusiasm and he had HCA. I have a PR guy that helps me on the road dunno about him though.

The closer to Strictly Follow Depth Chart you get, the ****LESS**** likely the coach will substitute out your starters, as each of the "follow depth chart" options places progressively more weight on the positioning you placed the players in the depth chart (are they the starter). If you have a big disconnect between the skill of your starter and backup, the only real way to get the coach to rotate them is to play LCD. Though even that can't cure extremely wide skill gaps.

and the guy that will beat all of these guys by 40+ points...Edju.

I might actually have a game this season where I don't top 40.

Everyone is missing the point though. I lost because my guys ran out of steam in the second half (and fouls and hca). What I'm bitching at is why do I play depth chart until the 4th when they don't follow the depth chart?

I'm pretty sure that it's common knowledge that depth chart til 4th is a scam, and completely fails to do what it advertises it should.

Hell, even TUG pointed it out sometime last season, but I'm on my mobile right now & can't be bothered to dig up that discussion.

its absolutely a scam. i ruined my minutes notable times with it.

the only two reliable options for training are strictly follow depth chart (even then its hazardous in a blowout) and coach picks from depth chart (which is sort of varaible, but the variance is better known)

if you absolutely have to win a game (think game 3 of finals), then let coach decide isnt always horrendous if you have your tactics right.

took me too many times thinking i didnt set a lineup or i set it wrong somehow to realize DC till 4th is a freaking joke,

FIFY.

Never have had one iota of trouble using SFDC, even in 40 plus wins. Just sucks when you single position train, and that trainee gets hurt. Then you have a backup center playing 10 out of 18 minutes at PG instead of the backup SG. Weird, weird, weird.
