I witnessed the situation twice that a coach went to vacation, set up his team, got a player injured in the first game and had a whole mess in shapes and results when he came back. Both players lost their solid chances for competing in the playoffs, entering 2nd and 3rd overall they saw their teams down to 3 players in shape when it mattered.

Of course you can setup your lineup in advance, but honestly, such a limited access will not really change much for the negative, while it opens up alot to the positive.

So you basically say: if you go on vacation, it´s your own fault?

Someone could say its 'their buddy's team' when its really their 2nd account.

Same thing for people using same IP for 2 accounts and saying 'its my brother'

These things can't be allowed because for eveyr honest case there will be 100 attempts to create a multiple account.

the brother thing is allowed, so we allow family to play BB. But i don't think that it is so bad when someone could babysit a account for maybe 4 week a year.

I would definitely use such a possibility to cheat.

It's not just about going on holidays,

It's also for like a Family emergency, example Death in the Family, some people need some time to travel interstate or to another country. People in NZ and Japan have been affected by Earth Quakes some people don't have the internet or even a house, It would be nice if they could get someone to babysit there game for a few weeks, while they have more important thing's to worry about.

Or is that there fault for being in the wrong family or living in the wrong place too.

@Knecht: Sure, but you´re Austrian ;)

Then again, how would you do it?

I dont know yet, but I would involve my second and third team to make it really efficient.

I wholeheartedly disagree with your whole approach. This is a game for the managers, and with all due respect, while the game itself has alot of lapses, weaknesses and serious issues to deal with, the manager has to be around all the time and has to prepare for all and everything?

I think the game should provide some kind of service approach for those spending week over week developing their teams and players. There is plenty reasons for a short to medium leave of absence, starting with a sick child, over hospital stints, personal issues, chainging jobs, loss of the internet connection (moving in and out of a new flat / house) and finishing with such simple things as pure vacation, and every reason is as valid as the other.

I understand every player quitting BB because of a lost seasons because of some crap happening during his 2, 3, 4 week leave. I do think if the server and performance reasons won´t strike me first, this might be at some point the reason why I will be quitting, if not solved before.
