He actually healed today, so I suppose you're right. Case closed. And to be absolutely frank, I think I even miscounted the days he was injured :-) Concluding with today, he has been injured for exactly 26 days which, while still much longer than originally estimated 3 weeks, is still way less than 2 extra weeks as it first appeared to me :-)
Now, in regards to what you said about injury status being reset with start of a new season, there, I'm afraid, you're wrong. The only thing that gets reset with start of new season is form. As for the injuries, to quote you, if your player is estimated to be injured for next 3 weeks, it will take him anywhere between 21 and 27 days to heal :-) regardless of whether we're entering new season or not. And how do I know this(?) well, I had injured players in the past missing the start of the new season. Several times. Now, this is a fact.
That
was fact until season 16 started:
In the past, injured players would go away for the offseason and come back with the same problem, as if the offseason had passed by in an instant, leaving owners to pay medical bills and start backups in their opening games. Injured players have now agreed to mandatory offseason therapy, so that they will be ready for the start of the season.
