This is easy......GS levels have sub levels......a high 7 will only drop to a 6...a low 7 will drop to a 5

Gameshape was just reset last week so there were no high 7's and low 7's, everyone starts at the exact same point.

I would assume that the drops are a bit random because gameshape movement itself is ramdom.

I bought a player this week. he droped from 7 to 5, played 84 min the week and went back to 7 on friday. Seems to me like the GS Hit ends after the first TU at the new team??

I think that's more lucky than anything else with that many minutes. Plus you'll have to see if he has trouble getting above 7 the next couple of weeks to see if there are any last effects of the GS hit.

My guy from the opening post dropped from 7 to 5 on the transfer and bounced back to 6 after playing 75 mins last week.

Looking at the drops in GS I think teams can still buy two to three weeks before the end of the TL transfers and have enough time to get their GS back to tip top shape. Is it going to help much in the problem it was suppose to solve?

It doesn't eliminate the problem, that would be near impossible anyways, but it does make buying a high salaried player a more difficult short term fix. Owner's will have to carry more salary for a longer period of time and there's no guarantee that the player's gameshape will bounce back quickly.

Macindeor:

week ending 6/14 - 46 minutes, GS ??
week ending 6/21 - 69 minutes, GS 9
week ending 6/28 - 61 minutes, GS 9

*bought 6/28 - GS dropped to 8*

week ending 7/5 - 61 minutes, GS 6

????? Pretty harsh!

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

My guy from the opening post has only gone from a 5 to a 6 in two weeks.

Mind you I had a couple of in-game injuries and he played 20 minutes more than he should have the first week (82 total). He got 67 minutes this week and didn't move up at all.

Has anyone purchased a player that has risen to an 8 or a 9 over the first 2 weeks?
