To all people who wants to be a NT manager, please make some noise or even help the other team manager to solve problem on our Canadian forum first.

Look at Bballin, beside what he did on our NT, he always help the other club manager thru the forum and BB mail. You are not come here and just say that you're better than someone else. Cause I don't even know who you are even you might better than Bballin.

In brief, I don't care you really a good NT manager or not, if you really wants our NT has a better result over the world. Then, you should try your best to help your country to train more useful players. At least you try to help the other newb team to survive. Without good players, our NT manager just nothing.

You have to pay before you get the honor.

1) If Wolph sees this he will cry to a BB haha.

2) Avoiding Chile would mean playing USA in semis and we would still be underdog.

3) Your avatar is old, but still cool ;)

Agreed on #2...and #1, but if you believed that you could not beat the US or Chile in a potential semi matchup doesnt that narrow it down to only one choice. Try to get in the same group as both teams and use more effort to upset one of those teams and reach the semi vs some team like Uruguay or Colombia. It was like you guys decided from the beginning that you were screwed either way and just walked right into it.

cause honestly I feel like Canada did as good as they were gonna do the last 2 seasons.

Really bballin? Buddy (I'm not your buddy guy!!) you were rubbing it my face last election thread that your goal for Canada NT last term was to 1) reach the Worlds, 2) win some second round games and even reach the World semi, and 3) beat the US again. Not only did none of those happen, you basically admit that it was never going to happen and that a good consos finish was the best Canada NT could do? You set yourself up for failure last election thread, and now that you did inevitably did fail you are making excuses instead of just owning it.

what would You have done differently?
I think it is good question to you. If you are not happy with results and you don't know what to do better, in my opinion you aren't good candidate to lead NT. You don't give any hope for progress with such thinking.

Sorry, but I will not give you a ready-made solutions. I have my own ways to achieve success (just a look on Poland NT and my team). I'm not a no name. Just trust me, and then I'll share with you my knowledge and I'll show you my way of winning.

By the way...After last election (two seasons ago) I reported desire to help you. I wanted to be closer Canada NT. I wanted to get to know Canadian players. I wanted to get to know you and your community. You didn't even answered...You didn't give me access to your outside forum. You didn't give me even a tiny chance to demonstrate my knowledge. After all, you are asking me what would I have done different...I'm disappointed.

Canada was blessed with an incredible draft class of guards that is now currently 30 years old that will probably need to be replaced completely during the next 4 seasons. As NT manager, what will the candidates do to help replenish the upcoming guard prospects so that this doesn't eventually cripple the team?

It was more like, we just decided to save up enthusiasm and give it our best shot, but I can see the argument here. Either way I dont think we could have done it because im sure Chile and USA would have at least normalled us, and a CT would ruin our enthusiasm for the SF.

Canada did the best we could have done considering the schedules we got. Lets say we draw Ukraine or Hrvatska or even Portugal and we win our repechage group and head to worlds. Chile and USA were just better than us. A couple shots this way, a bounce or two in our favour and we could have beaten Chile, a 5 point loss is nothing to scoff at. We went 22-4 the past two seasons and only one of those losses was a winnable game and that was the first round loss to Colombia that had no effect on the rest of my two seasons.

My point was that there really wasnt anything more we could have done. 22-4, 5 point loss to Chile, 3 point loss to Spain, crushed by Slovensko and a loss that was my fault against Colombia. Even if we beat Colombia the result is the same.

This is a debate, where people want to learn about what Youll do and how Youll do it. Not to say, look at what ive done. They want You to tell them. So answering questions, with questions isnt going to help Your case.

Also if you were so keen on becoming a part of Canadas NT staff, You would have taken an interest and even participated in the forums these past two seasons. Not just show up come election time.

In fairness, I don't think it's easy to get involved in NT discussions without knowing the skills of the players. And if he did contact you to get involved, I think at the very least you should have asked the off-site forum if he should be given access.

I agree with one part of your post, that NT manager should be involved in the community and teams should be able to ask him questions and ask for advice (maybe not even him directly, but the staff built around NT), but I think second part of your post is nonsense. NT elections is about choosing the best manager available, that is able to bring most skill and biggest success for NT. We have a group of active Canadian managers that will always answer questions on a forum, but for that to happen the new players must actually post them

I was dissapointed as well that kozlik dissapeared from forums after election loss, but if it is true that he wanted access to offsite forum and wasnt granted it then I think Fresh has a point. Esoecially since on this forum about as much information as saying "Lineup and tactics posted off-site, please join the discussion" was given.

kozlik: although I agree that not everything could be shared to entire community, at least our schedule is up now so maybe you can give your thoughts about it?

The best we can do is stay in constant contact with managers of our 22-25 year old guards in order to ensure that they can take the reigns from our 30+ yo guards right now. Although I think Stronks can play until he is 34/35 same with Stavridis and Kearns. Fortunately we have Ferguson who is with the Quebec Pugs, and receiving great training, Macindeor who is on Kumikos team and being trained well, Guevin on Laval Giants who is becoming an amazing guard, Hernandez who just finished his U21 career and has a manager determined to get him on the NT and then at age 19 we have Jarvis who is in beanerz hands and hopefully becomes something special. So those players being in good Canadian situations means less constant communication required. We also have Chacon who us hopefully bought into another good situation. I think Canada will pull through.
