Well it was a strange decision for him to put so much effort into that game.
It was a bold call, but it was worth a shot! :)
My game went really well, we had a 20 point lead heading into the fourth quarter. The back up squad started playing uninterrupted with 3 minutes left in the third quarter. After which they started giving up the lead and let it diminish to 7 points. The starters had to get out of their rest-mode and pushed the lead back up leading to a solid 12 point victory at Zwarte Leeuw Oostende!

TV game and I'm your rival team, I thought you would had played normal to be sure to win.

It was a very important game for my team because on TV and I'll play 4 times @ home before my next TV game. If I had known your line-up and your TIE in advance, I wouldn't crunch you. Even with a TIE I think it was enough.

Now, I have to rebuild my ent. ;-)

4th place is still possible with my low-salary team, great!

That's an ok reason,
but the fact that you're his rival doesn't mean that it helps you.
If he'd be your rival, it would influence your ticket sale, but not the way it is right now.
The win will boost your rankings (nationally and internationally) which can be nice.

Anyway, there were no real surprises tonight if I look at the results of the other games!
On the blue side: BC FTA stays the hottest team, winning 5 in a row while compiling a good point differential.
Quaregnon Sharks takes the second place from Giants, who will drop just 2 spots.
Third slot will be for Bostun, who are a surprising playoff contender as pointed out earlier.
The bottom four remains basically the same, except for Partizan picking up their first win of the season.

On the red side: Same as BC FTA, I achieved to win my fifth straight game!
Second place BXL keeps breathing down my neck with a solid win. Because of the loss ZWL will drop 2 spots because of the big wins by Panters and Balrogs! Balrogs, as a team which is new to the league will also slide into play off contention.
Trying to repeat a feature which I achieved last year: Finish in the play offs after promoting!
The bottom 3 remains the same, because of 3 losses. These teams will probably compete for regulation.
Bavi vilvoorde is controlled by a bot now, so they'll be the team which drops out.
