who needs any perimiter defense when you are 69 for 129 from the field and 17 for 35 from beyond the arc and score 173 on someone?

By the same token, you could say:

who needs any perimeter defense when you are 63 for 116 from the field and 11 for 27 from beyond the arc and score 158 on someone?

Too bad that was a losing effort.

you can keep on playing defensively. We will see where it gets you and we will see where my all out offense gets me. It will be an interesting race.

Fair enough, and honestly, best of luck to you.

It's not much of a race for me, I'm rebuilding this (and likely the next few) season(s).

I wasn't trying to start some sort of flame-war, I was just suggesting that defense is no more overrated than most other skills. Can we at least come to an agreement that Shot Blocking is overrated on C/PFs?

I must say, I'm with daryk on this one.
Most of my players have good perimeter defense, and I can contain most high scoring offenses to at most 100 points.

If you want you can keep training only outside scoring on your guards and when I reach you next season (cause chances are you wont make NBBA) I'll show you how underrated perimiter D really is.

win your division 3 first son, then we will talk.

or better yet lets put it like this,

your odds of reaching d2 are worse than my odds of reaching nbba, in spite of my current losing streak.

now, go take a report, you're done.

Two teams playing RnG, and Full Court Press on TIE? That's bound to happen I think.

Seriously though, I probably should look into upgrading my OD. It's probably been my biggest achillies heel all along.

lol, when you can make a real guard, then you can have room to talk shit.
I have 2 better than your best.
And my back ups aren't far off.

And my odds of reaching d2, well just look me up next season, you'll see that i'll be in d2.
I mean, going 22-0, and winning a championship will very likely earn me a spot in d2.
If you really think I wont make it, ha, you've got to take some reports of your own.
Son.

Not if one of them has a really sick defense. ;)
