My team has a good distribution of Stamina, and for the most part I never have a minutes problem.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

Same here, not sure what the rationale is though...

It must be related to more than just stamina but here's some of the splits I've had this season

Game 1
PG(8stam - 45 mins) _ bPG (7stam - 3 mins)
SF(9 - 46) _ bSF(5 - 2)
C(10 - 48) _ bC(10 - 0)

Game 3
SG(4 - 44) _ bSG/bSF(7 - 17)
C(10 - 48) _ bC(10 - 0)

Game 4
SF(9 - 48) _ bSG/bSF(7 - 28) _ bbSF(5 - 0)

Game 5
SG(5 - 45) _ bSG(7 - 3)

Game 6
SG(7-40) _ bPG/bSG(8 - 34)
SF(5 - 40) _ bSF(5-8)
PF(4 - 43) _ bPF(9 - 5)
C(10 - 48) _ bC(10 - 0)

Game 7
PG: 42mins (fouled out) / SG:42 / SF:48 / PF:33 / C:41

Game 8
26 / 40 / 48 / 48 / 38

Game 9
38 / 44 / 31 / 36 / 42

As you can see players having 40+ minutes is not an isolated incident and 7 players have played the entire 48 minutes of games.

I trained Stamina for two weeks and now have a lot of "Strong" and "Proficient" players who regularly play 40+ minutes each game. One has played at least 43 minutes in five consecutive games including 48 in a blowout loss that caused him to go over the dreaded 90 minutes for the week.

Since I, like most new players, am in development mode, being subject to starters going for 40+ minutes all the time is big issue. For example, I had a player go 44 minutes and put him in as a backup in my scrimmage thinking he'd get his 4+ minutes and so go over 48 for the week. Lo and behold, the bench warmer I started played all 48 and my trainee couldn't even get his four minutes.

I don't know what to tell you other than I hope you fix this problem.

I don't seem to have a minutes problem for some reason.

It is a complex of skills that determine the minutes distribution.

The starters are playing as long as they are better (in case of coach decision), the stamina will decide how fast they are loosing skills. Also the starters have some bonus over the bench (since you choose them as starters).

So if you choose your best players to sit on the bench and the margin is not too big with the bonus for starters they should be equal and may get the same amount of minutes.

So what count is:
Skills, Coach decision, stamina.

I think I read somewhere that they will improve it so you can have more options such as playing with the bench if leading by 20 points and such.
