then lets make another assumption that their rebounding skills are identical.

Now, making those assumptions, what would you say which player would get the rebound?


You said yourself, they are identical in skills. So why would you expect one to rebound better? Apparently, your big guy can only compensate with his height his obvious lack of talent...

This is not an issue at all. A 7'2 guy will almost always have higher rebounding than say a 6'1 C, because they learn faster. Most people who get C under 6'6 cut them, because they suck. It will take literally, ages for that guy to get up in rebounding, meanwhile, the 7'2 guy can pop in a mere 2 or 3 weeks max.

this discussion is pointless... the influence of height on rebounds and other skills is explained in the rules so there's no point in discussing it further....

Hey mate,
I have picked up a guy 6'3 who came with Strong RB & ID.... I assume his ID will go up after a few sessions of OD this season.. just wanted to ask how long you reckon for RB (age 22) at this height.. Also when training JS is it best to train Forwards so that he has a chance of his IS popping as well?

Well that guy is looking like a complete SF at the making, so i would invest on ID/OD/IS/JS and maybe JR. I don't feel that rebs are that important to get more than 8, considering that he will be the 3rd rebber on ur line up. From my experience training a 6'3 guy big men skills its hard, and considering his age, you cant afford to train rebs too.

Your big man Garcia that is on the market, looks great prospect as SF too. Little tall to get decent dwarf training but still very nice secondary skills

I actually rate RB pretty high and believe that it proves quite useful throughout the whole team.
I'm really experimenting with the SF position and have yet to decide the type of SF I prefer. I favour the small guys (i guess cos they are rarer)....Ramos is my new SF project and i just hope that he still has some skill-ups in him at OD... but the complete SF is still a way off. Everyone still has 1 or more niggling deficient stat and my attempts with Bastias showed me how long a 6'10 guy takes to train at OD.... having said that I think it is definitely worth the effort.

how long does it takes for a 6'10 to train OD? ,I have a SF project as well and next season I'm planing on guard skills so your experience would be very apreciated

Your dominating your league so you have the luxury for mono training etc, without afraid to lose any games, so you can gamble, and do w/e you like. If i was at your position maybe i could try to convert a guy 6'10 to a PG lol
