I really hope the GM will do something asap.

The GMs don't set the rules.

We can certainly give advice, but we're not the final decision-maker.

if you cant beat em join em!

i started out trading pretty successfully but even I have seen 4-6 clubs that I cant compete with now!!

day trading can and will exist at all levels not just at the top of the market.... buying at 300 to sell at 400 is obvious to everyone and i defy you to tell me this hasnt crossed everyones mind to do after they get their first TV money...

but buying at 50 and selling at 100 is just as effective... my objective was and still is to build my stadium to 8000 seats before my competitors... i just want a stronger financial footing each week. Along the way i have experimented with different players/positions so that when i go to the transfer market to buy and keep i can draw on the experiences i have had.

A tax or initial period is inevitable and im sure throughout BB history there will be other ways to gain a quick financial advantage...the game wont incorporate every feature that each individual desires to help their team be the best....just play the game as the rules are laid out.

According to me day trading should not be possible at all. As I see it, it makes no sense at all to make it possible o by a player just to sell heim the day after. I don't believe there is any player in the world that would accept signing to a team under those conditions. Therefore the possibility of day trading makes no sense and should be removed simply by having player contracts of at least half a season. If a player is released faster than this a severe fine should be payed to the player.

Daytrading only rises the prices in the market, which is bad anyways. This should be enough already to stop it, which will happen with the future tax changes.

I hope taxes for players who are with your team for less than half a season will be very high.

something must be done, there is a way to stop daytrading...

a) The player must be in the team at least 6 week before selling him again...
c) Set a contract that the player must stay a season in the team.
b) Set a transfer tax and a penalty to the team if the player isn't in the team for a whole season...

Why, exactly?

I've seen many people say this, but no real concrete reason as to why.

No I'm sorry that's not true, there are many reasons to limit the day trading, first of all and above all, because this is not an "economic game" where wins who is able to realize more profit, then if we don't stop the wild trading you'll find some teams full of money and tons of teams without money and players, third because I don't think this game was born to advantage people that can stay hours in front of the monitor offering for cheap players and finally you've to think that a lot of people is leaving hattrick for the same reason, so I don't want to suggest anything but don't understimate this matter.

Probably, because there is a guy who earned himself 5 mil, through day trading. Making it hard for other people to sign relatively good players, because they can never outbid that guy. Which makes it unfair.
And that's just one guy.. imagine dozens of these, who spend hour and hours camping the TL.

I think that's the reason. Not sure though...
