For example if you train stamina on your center and he pops in IS to 14, the skill doesn't go from 13 to 14, but from 13,8 to 14,0 or something like that. This difference of 0,2 isn't having a major impact on salary so that argument is pretty ridiculous.
A center with average B-skills, tremendous in IS, ID and Reb and prominent in Blocking (quite common build I guess), costs around 70k per week (moutlinhos salary calc).
A single pop in one of the core skills costs you between 4 (BL) and 10k (ID), for teams that own a roster that consumes most of their income a unexpected pop in one of those core skills would result in some work. Maybe we have to replace players every now and then just like the staff members, because they become too expensive.
I am currently operating at almost zero income and if my russian center got better in one of his core skills this would cost around 30k which would result in my team losing money.
A triple phenomenal + BL strong center (around 400k salary) would cost around 50k more per week if he popped in one of his primary skills. I dont think that my argument is pretty ridiculous. BB said that this change would benefit those players, I dont see it that way.
