Probably. Weather forecast predicts lots of orange-brownish balls falling through the wrong hoop at a prolific rate.

maybe the goal was to get teams to reconsider the impact of throwing road games? there's likely less of a disparity in HCA, esp at the NBBA level, if the majority of games are road normals against home ties.

just brainstorming wtf they were thinking. whatever their rationale it doesn't make sense.

can you envision a scenario in which the Miami Heat fans refuse to go watch Game 7, because they lost on the road in Game 6?

No, but Miami fans are awful though. The Marlins had a more than half-empty stadium all season when they won the world series in 2003. They averaged 16,000 tickets sold in a stadium that could seat about 70,000. (Of course actual attendance was half that. Plus the Marlins recently admitted lying about attendance.)

A couple years ago they had a grand total of 347 fans for a game! Yes... 347 people for a major league game. And that reportedly wasn't even their smallest crowd.

Prior to their new stadium, they were the 125th most popular professional sports team in the USA, as measured by season ticket holders! That's astoundingly bad.

I wish they'd increase HCA. Maybe make it twice as strong as it currently is. Or even 3 times as strong.

But... also increase the impact of your last away game. Make it so a loss results in a 90% drop in attendance, minimum. (And none of the remaining fans are allowed to sit court-side).

Damn it! I'm certainly out of the cup this season. Poor show on my end.

looks like you survived. I, on the other hand, lost by 40. lol. If you're going to lose, lose big!

That's been my marketing campaign for the regular season.

So, as soon as Celen gets sold, my team will have a roster that is almost entirely composed of americans (the ugly exception being my guard Rehisalu). Steve... here I come!

I'm down to two! (Minus all the cup fodder I picked up this week) Gonna be tough to get rid of the Turk though, he's shaping up nicely!
