Here is one of my trainees.

Jump Shot: atrocious Jump Range: atrocious
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: mediocre
Driving: mediocre Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: average ↑ Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: strong Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: awful Free Throw: mediocre

Experience: atrocious

He will be a pretty solid centerwhen all is said and done. I believe in great balance in all positions so am obviously pleased with his starting skills. Please let me know your thoughts.

Not bad that that atrocious on his JS is really a set back for him because he has almost everything he needs to be a really good PF during the road. My advice is to try to train him 1-2 weeks per season on JS. Even with 5 you will see great effect on his performance.

By the time he is 21 he will have respectable JS, which will be ok.

I have thought about having him be a PF, but instead am going to stick with the plan to create a very well versed center. His balanced skills will be benificial especially in the new GE.

Respectable JS is good but more is better especially exactly with the new GE. Having a C with nice JS means that you have 1 more threat on run and gun

JS 1/JR2/OD2 or OD1/DR1. Something like that. You have plenty of time to train PA is relative easy to do it. JR is a weakness that you must fix. OD is the harder skill to train, so do it when he is young. I dont rate DR very high but he trains lots of skills as 2ndaries.

5x OD then 5x PA (or the other way around depending who else you are training. Train single position then leave the One to One and Jump Shot training for when he is older and you are forced to train 2 positions.
