It will be nice to have GE like FM manager have in browser based online games.But even in football manager games you havent such a GE.Football or soccer manager games how you called in USA have much more user base than basketball managers but still havent better GE than BB have.They have 200k user base like TM have or even more in HT or Top eleven on FB but still have text based GE.
FM got this new match viewer when SEGA come in and join in the work with SI games.Earlier they have text based match viewer like we have here.
There are some American Football browser-based games that actually have a 2D engine where you can see the plays, though they're of course quite flawed. But even in just "text-based" GE's there's a massive gulf between the stuff SI have done over the years (even back to the first one I played, CM4) and what Hattrick does. BB is far ahead of HT in that regard, at least. I just don't know if BB's engine has the capacity to actually simulate the player movement and ball movement needed for more in-depth pbp, let alone a 2d viewer, though I suppose it's probably a moot point given that we only have one Marin. ;)
