Well once u decide if u want to train big skills or small skills i would trade the youngsters your not training off. For example if u train small skills its better to trade your young big men while they have more value. They will just get wasted otherwise. You would be able to get big men with the same skills as your youngsters who are 25+ years old for a lot cheaper on the transfer market or even get better big men who are older.

Thanks Aussie Dude - being really dense do you mean skills attributed to say a centre when you say big skills?? and vice versa - probably sounds really dense :-)

Yes big skills are skills for big men like Center and Power Forward, skills like inside defense, rebounding, shot blocking.
Small skills are for small men aka the Guards, small skills are Outside defense handling, passing...

Yep - think they are my best options - have bought in a couple of older players just to bolster my starting line up and have put 5 players up for sale so I will see what happens :-) that'll take me down to 13 if they all get bought.

I dont see any reason at all to have more than 12 players.

If you are worried about getting too many minutes grap a really cheap player off transfer list while the injured player is out. Just use the scrub on your scrimmage games or a game you can easily win.

Seems like teams with 10-14 players have good game-shape and function well.

Less than 10 or more than 14 it just seems people cant get enough minutes to keep people in shape to play.
