It's better to train some outside skills for bigmen when ID, IS, REB is high enough than training shot blocking.

You can go that route yes, some guys already have those skills though more passing is always useful.

No. I like realism, and I think it's an idiotic build where a player can shoot the ball really well but can't make a free throw ?

Good for you! I like suspension of reality, which is why I play simulation games.

As for shotblocking, at higher levels the cost of improving shotblocking is basically half that of improving any of the other inside skills. If a guy is 14 at all four inside skills increasing his ID, IS, or REB will increase his salary by about 20k. Increasing his Sb will increase his salary about 10k.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Shot Blocking and Jump Range should be more important than they are now. BBs should change the Game Engine and boost the importance of these 2 skills in order to have more balanced players.

That is a very vague and subjective statement..

Yes, everyone has his own opinion. But this one is my and quite strong. You can train for example passing without raise of wage instead of shotblocking, it brings you more for less wage and probably also player can be sold for more than the other one you prefer.

You are of course mostly right, but it depends on so much more, the whole picture of the player and the rest of your squad, long term planning etc...

I love Shot Blocking IRL and here.:) And it can't be told what is better, blocking a few shots more per match more or having a bit better passing/handling (I suppose you mean those, I wouldn't really train anything else for a Center).

In my eyes it can be told, but just my opinion. I accept someone has different one even if I disagree.

Why is it not realistic to have high JS and Atrocius FT?

I have watched many players miss FTs during matches because they get nervous at the FT line. This happens in other sports as well.
