I have a PG that might have been capped as well, but I really would like to get him 3 or4 more skillups in PS (2) and OD (1), maybe in JS (1).
But that will be a hard time with him, he already needed 5-6 weeks of JS training for the last skillup at the age of 23. Now he´s 24 and has a salary of 34k with allstar potential. I have the impression that this is the cap for him, although I get told from different people that he should have something left in his tanks. But he´s so slow in training...

Don't forget if it is Unwin or Hamilton they are also really really old, they are in the same boat as Oliver. I want him to get another pop but if he is old and capped, ouch!

Going from a pop every 3 week or so to nothing in 8 week, Urwin the older 25 has popped more, so i don't think age is the problem.

6 weeks of pressure on a 21 year old without a pop. i decided to wait for that one pop and then sell him... it's about to become really annoying... especially with the all star break coming...

Whitemaggot I really feel for you. I am in the same situation I think, it sucks, our best guys never going to improve again.

I don't think it's worth changing training strategy mid season but is going to be there last season training. I never noticed training slowing down because of potential (soft cap) just a steady minimal decrees due to age. But This was like hitting a wall a pop every few weeks to nothing in 8 weeks of Jump Shot, 1 week of Pressure and 1 week of One on One.

Yes this is the push I finally needed to change to single position training. After this season Oliver will still probably get some JS or 1on1 when we do that but his days of improving his OD, JR or PA are numbered. One thing your guys have MUCH higher salaries than mine so maybe I can still squeeze something out.

Yeah keep training Oliver to the end of the season, you may have to think of a new plan for the future, it's just not worth it 10 weeks and no pop's.

I'm still getting some pops with Dell'Asta, he's 24 years old and a big man but he's getting his JS popping every 3-4 weeks now which is fine. Still got some life left in him yet. Albeit his potential is Superstar, so that surely helps.

Allstar is good enough to make II worthy guards, but when they cap they will find it hard to compete in ABBL..

Good option is.. (provided you can detach yourself from your favourite players) to sell your completed player, and use the money to buy some half finished trainee, so the performance won't drop too much... but the ceiling will be a lot higher...

HeadPaperPusher is collecting capped player data to study potential cap. Your player should be useful to him. You may share your player to him.
