I also think that players with good shot blocking are less prone to fouls. Say if a big-man have a horrible shot blocking but tries to block the shots, the chances of him fouling will increase. So having better shot blocking will also reduce the number of fouls, that's another way to look at it in my opinion (it's basically the same idea as better ID=less fouls etc).

correct. i do think, that shot blocking must be trained high :) better defence, more likely to stop opponent players.
