i saw 6th men who was quite useful for a lot of teams, and won't say that all role players ending useless. But for sure is it for stars and starters.

And i believe there are player who using their Potential and quite sure dachsbau would be wekaer as a mvp too.

The irony of you saying how useful 6th men are is that is that of your top players there are 4 x HoF, 1 x MVP, 1 x Superstar and 1 x Allstar*. Not seeing a lot of 6th men, or starters, or stars, or all stars or even pallstars (you do have one pallstar on your bench) making serious contributions to your team.

The majority of people put up with a bad job, a bad girlfriend and a bad life because trying to make everything good is seen as too hard or even impossible. I have a very well paying job that I love, my ex was a lingere model, my current has a PHD, I have been on about 20 overseas trips travelling the world and played sport at NT level. I look to the stars.

So instead I had a look at your roster and guess what? No-one below allstar again with most being superstars. Just a coincidence? I think not. You two are smart managers and that is what smart managers know and do. Training a 6th man is for the birds!

If trained properly even allstars will hit their cap at 21, I know I have an allstar that is capped and a 21 year old allstar that would be capped in a couple of weeks if I hadn't switched to training less useful skills.

If you are just starting out in division IV or V or VI and in your starting team you get a 7'4" 7k starter then by all means train him. If you are from Pakistan and want to train local players then train a starter. Otherwise I still think allstar is the utter base limit of what it is sensible to train.

Or, we could just remove potentials entirely, and any player in the BB universe could be trained however the hell his owner(s) would see fit, and all TL prices would be based on skills, not perception of possible skills.

dark thoughts bro, dark thoughts LOL
If we changed every player in the game to AtG then anything starting with a single skill with less than 5 would be thrown away.

I seriously, seriously doubt this would be the case. Seriously. I'm being serious.

In all seriousness (okay, enough), I recall back when there weren't any potentials, and I'd guess that the players fired at birth were the ones who were complete crap, not the ones who were OK but had no potential.

I think its good the way it is more or less. Actually I think there is an excess of trained and trainable players becuase of how many accounts get/got thrown away (often mysteriously;)) and the FA system/open market put the players right back in.

The players in the system for purchase have been trained by a user base some 3 to 5 times larger than the actual current user base using those players.

Your figures are probably a bit off (you're assuming there have been between 150-250,000+ people in the world who have played BB at some time in the past 4 years, which I doubt), but you're making a valid point about the excess of trained players. I don't know if that statement, when extended to "trainable" players, holds much water, unless your definition of trainable is pretty loose.
