Ac BTW: The reason I can beat teams by 30-40 teams is because of him playing 48 minutes.

The point is, you don't need to win games by 30-40 and you'd still be winning those games handily if you controlled his minutes.

Try playing him about 65-70 minutes a week instead of 90+ and he would be a significantly better player in the minutes he does play for you. That's just how game shape works. Many owners get sucked into thinking they need to play their stars 48 mpg every game but it just hurts the player and as the season progresses, your team. It's short term thinking.

Wow 56 FT attempts? Hopefully a lot of those were intentional!! (since it went to OT)
I foul a lot but never give up close to that many attempts. Say I have 25 fouls -- the other team probably shoots 35 FTs or less. Then again it's my PF/C's that foul & it seems to be the opposite for you. (your guards).

I think the bigger issue for most teams is having a star player foul out & having zero depth. If a team has 4 or 5 solid PF/C's, then it's not a huge loss if 1 or even 2 foul out on occasion.

For some reason my fouling has increased each season & I now lead my league.... I know there's the hidden aggressiveness attribute. But a few players have doubled their fouling since joining my team!! Like I have a player who averaged 0.8 fouls / 34 minutes before signing him. He increased to 3.1 fouls / 24 minutes on my team a couple seasons later. Another guy went from 2 to 4 fouls per 32 minutes.

Example from my league as how can fouls destroy you. Look at the ratings... Weaker team shooting 44 free throws, hitting 30 and winning +13 against stronger team.

Lav Zelenikov from my team. Season16 average fouls - 0,9, season 17 average fouls - 2,9. He plays more this season, but still his fouling grows ridiculously..

I had one season where my squad went virtually unchanged, but I went from least fouls in my league to 2nd most (doubling in one season)...what I realized is that an awful lot of those fouls were on my bigs, and I'd been training smalls, and there were some good centers added to the league (and some of those teams were training big men). It wasn't that my bigs got worse, it's that their opposition got better, and they were fouling to try to keep up.

At least, that was my theory.

That theory does seem logical.
But it seems incredibly random when my guys foul out. Like they could be fine against a $100k center, yet foul out in 20 minutes against an $8k center in an early cup game or PL game... that's what's maddening!

Leading my league in fouls now, the difference from before isn't shooting fouls, but random off-the-ball fouls. Like completely random stretches with rapid fouls. (3 straight fouls in a 10 seconds type things). remember when 1 guy with 4 fouls came back in & fouled out in 2 seconds...

Try running LP instead of LI.
