I also think that one of the BBs even knows a little Japanese, but I still don't think they want to have to crawl through threads at a Snail's pace trying to understand the words not the ideas.

I would recommend the value of the translation I have done, if done professionally at around $2000 USD or enough supporter to last the rest of my friggin life, then again I came in when the full translation was yet to even be released yet. I would say the value of the other two guys who use to be LAs and did the bulk of the translations to have done work worth around $20k. Maybe I am crazy, but you should look on the internet for the price of Japanese to English translation. Its probably cheaper for Spanish becuase bilingualism is so much more common and the economics of Spain and England compared to Japan.

I think I did most of the Finnish translation over one weekend and finished the match viewer some night the following week over a couple of beers (obviously concentrating more on typing than downing the beers). So, I don't want to belittle the workload nor the effort of the LA staff (my hat is off to all LA's), but it is a task I would happily do again for mere $10k. :-)
