I didn't talk about players that only have 20-30 minutes in the first two matches.

If they have 30 minutes after the two league games, have them start in the scrimmage (but assign someone as backup and reserve). That'll give them 30-40 minutes more and they'll be perfectly fine.

If they have e.g. 20 minutes after the two league games, you can easily give them 48 minutes in the scrimmage so they'll be at 68 minutes for the week which is good.

For this kind of minute management you'll need to use "Strictly follow depth chart". Plus you may not take any players to the game that you haven't assigned a position to. Otherwise the minutes may get messed up.

We have both said a lot of things that you are going to regret.

Pfew a hell lot confusing but I get your point. I just never looked at it this way because I thought overall game performance influences the training as well. So far he has popped every week, so I thought I was doing it well.. but i'll give your suggestion a go, after the AS week

I normally try to do the same with my training but the SG that I am training has a tendency to foul out when he starts at PG and only when he starts at PG. A few games he fouled out after like 20-28 minutes and the coach put random players in at PG after that.

I am going to try to go the route of A A B with hopes that players A plays the entire game but if he does get fouled out then player B will be subbed in at PG instead of a random big man.
