#1 Lake Merrit Arrows at #2 Silverbacks

Get ready for an amazing match as the #1 team faces the #2 team.
SM and the Silverbacks were trying to get a threepeat but felt short being elimanated by thr Burlington Mountain Goats last season. Now the Silverbacks will try to win another cup title. Being led by guards Billy Polt and Dexter Dennison they sure won't go down without a fight.

Standing in the Silverbacks way are the Lake Merit Arrows and Coco. Last season we saw Coco win the cup and it seems he might win another cup. Coco has been winning cup game like nothing showing everyone why his team is the best in the USA. Being led by bigs Carlos Alberto Vega, Dimitris Agaliotis and SF Ruben Ramos they are a force to reckon with.

This is sure to be a hell of a match.

#16 King Drive Ballers (II.4) vs. #12 AirBallers (NBBA)

Ladies and gentleman, we are now down to the Elite 8, and games at this stage get no better than this one right here! Led by Brian, KDB (22817) is back in it for the long haul, and look better than ever before. After a season spent in D.3 rebuilding his team, the 6 time cup champion, 5 time NBBA champion, and probably the owner of the most storied franchise in BB history is back! The King Drive Ballers have undoubtedly crushed their opposition in almost every game so far, including an impressive 104-90 victory over Peluin and the Visionaries in the Sweet 16. Brian and KDB are back, and will not stop fighting until brian can hoist the crown upon his head once more.

It won't be easy for him though, because in order to advance to the Final Four, brian will have to pass through jfarb and the AirBallers (28800). It seems that last year's runner up has tricked even the best of managers so far, for he has won easily with all the others assuming what you see (AirBallers, I mean come on, I'd think they were bad too) is what you get. They even pulled off a win against the NBBA's Rocket Science (28847) this past week, a team who loaded themselves with incredibly high salary players before they faced the AirBallers. Led by offseason pick up Charles Dube (7923988) and jfarb's favorite (hehe) and unarguably the best player in buzzerbeater history Ricky Logsdon (6626006) (Don't argue the fact :D ), the AirBallers are definitely not quitting now. Jfarb was even quoted to say, "We're not gonna stop fighting now. We'll keep on trucking... Well at least until we meet up with Coco in the finals and get our asses kicked. But until then we shall fight!!!" No doubt about it, jfarb can't wait to add another silver trophy to his trophy case :) Should be a good one!

Catch that game on Thursday, 8PM Eastern. You won't want to miss it!

#4 Milwaukee Lethargy (NBBA) vs #22 Black Mambas (II.1)

Manager shikago and the #4 Lethargy (23424) have been an incredible success this season, their first in the NBBA. Fresh off winning the II.3 Championship in Season 17, the Lethargy are a stunning 12-5 in the ultra-competitive Great 8 of the NBBA. Along with their league success, they have reached the Elite 8 for the first time in team history after taking care of the Grubbses (42296946) in the Sweet 16. Led by captains Mariusz Niski (4192740) and Beda Utesch (4288724), Milwaukee will play several 40 yr old veterans in the hopes that experience will lead them to the Final Four.

It can be tough to coach the Black Mambas (29056) sometimes, just ask manager robertrjs. "He doesn't pass the ball much," said one anonymous teammate, "and he isn't very respectful. Every time I shoot the ball he yells at the coach to 'Get Fish out of the f#$%ing game!'" Despite that the Mambas have overcome the controversy to reach the Elite 8 for the first time in team history, and stand in 2nd place in the Great 8 of II.1. To advance to the Final Four, the Mambas will need a big game from the "White Mamba" Mateusz Pasieka (4848085).

Thursday, 8pm Eastern, HGTV.

#137 Failboat (III.5) vs #41 Imperial Phantoms (II.4)

Out of 256 Division III teams, only one is still alive in the Cup....Failboat and the Failboat (23369). With a solid hold on 5th place in the Great 8 of III.5, Failboat can afford to fight on in the Cup. To reach the Elite 8, Failboat had to defeat several Division III teams and two Division II teams, Shock Wave (23140) and the Phoenix Fletchers (28369). Now one win away from a Final Four appearance, Failboat will need another big game from Patricio Quinteros (7582934), who had 33 points and 18 rebounds in the Failboat's Sweet 16 win over Farfrompukin (42296947).

Azariah and the Imperial Phantoms (23381) have fought hard, kind of, to reach the Elite 8. To get this far they had to take out the NBBA's Reston Thumpers (42285290) in an earlier round. Last week they caught a break, as the #24 Technical Fouls decided to throw the Sweet 16 matchup (42296948). In a three way tie for 2nd place in the Big 8 of II.4, the Phantoms will certainly try to put an end to Failboat's Cinderella story in an attempt to advance to their first ever Final Four in team history.

Thursday, 8pm Eastern, this game will not be on TV, TNT elected to show another re-run of Law and Order instead of this.

I think I'd be tempted to watch L&O instead of the "cup game of the century" too...

Also I would like to point out that our very own Coco and the Lake Merritt Arrows are not only in the Elite 8 of the Cup, but are in the Sweet 16 of the B3

Happy to report that Coco defeated #25 FC Tenakha (42308284) in the Sweet 16 of the B3! The Lake Merritt Arrows (23075) are the first American team to advance to the Elite 8 of the B3 since the King Drive Ballers in Season 13. Next up for Coco is RiP and the #1 B3 Ranked Philosopher Kings (24916) on the 18th at 7pm Eastern.

Don't worry! You're just the man to sow some existential doubt in his mind, and when he can't convince himself of what his sense organs are reporting, he'll surely forfeit!
