It doesn't suck for Taiwan. They aren't in the 2nd round of World's anyway.

What if that manager goes bot? And wow, they must have taken our spots in Worlds.

The manager will likely go bankrupt before bot. This guy would go up for sale for 1mil. It wouldn't be a smart move by anyone, but they could still save him and hopefully find him a good home for next season.

What do you mean by "They must have taken our spot in Worlds."? We are in Round 2 while Taiwan is not....

Your previous comment confused me and I haven't been following Worlds close enough so never mind that.

Just out of curiosity, how would this effect the Tiwan NT? I've have zero knowledge of how the NT stuff works, when they play, and all of that. But how does this hurt the Tiwan NT? Thanks for the info.

Well, GS is obviously crucial in determining a player's performance. When you've got the best players in the world, GS differences mean the difference between winning and losing.

Generally speaking, low division managers do a poor job of managing gameshape. Either they don't really understand how it works, or when the starter is so much better than the backup, even just playing in two games, the starter will get 80+ minutes. A couple weeks of that and the GS will start plummeting.

I see. I never really thought about that. But it's a great point. I guess I'm going to have to start keeping my GS in better shape beause I abuse my players.

I've read it before on here, but what is your opinion on how many minutes a player should get each week? And at what minute played does it begin to start hurting his GS?

Conventional wisdom says 48-70 minutes is ok for maintaining GS, with maybe 55-60 considered 'ideal.'

One thing that can help is to get a doctor with massage specialty. That will reduce the bad effects of too many minutes a bit.

He ended up selling this player for $1M after using him in only one game. He still took a $750K loss on this player, so he paid a hefty price for one game.
