I won as well. Training GS is stupid.

No one on here called it stupid but he did only have 5 player with 9 GS compared to my 3..and what if those 9's would have been 9's without the GS training? None were overplayed.
In my opinion, I wasn't going to waste my level 6 trainer on something that is random. And training GS is random especially when good minute management works just as well. And my U-21 player double popped which is pretty important.

I read in one of these training forums though, that no matter what level trainer you have when you train stamina and game shape it doesn't matter your trainers potential. And I'd like to say that there is no point training something that will reset in a week, with the new season.

The reason I mentioned my trainer's level was to point out his cost...There is no way I'm training GS while paying my trainer 42K. It also wasn't about the GS level resetting in a week, it was more to do with the fact that he had no players with to many minutes which means they could have already been going to level 9 even with out the GS training. But then again..He won the game and to some that is all that matters...even more than training youngsters..

You lost by 50 playing with higher effort, so I am guessing his GS training was with Stunners in mind, not you.

OK...Let's talk about the effort level....I had an 8 and I wouldn't have a game for a whole week....so going Playoff Normal and gaining Enthusiam that would have went back to an 8 anyway..It just seems a Playoff CT was the only way to go.
There are outcomes in this game that are pretty much set in stone....in fact..when Sharman took his roster over the million mark for the playoffs, it was a given that I was going to get run out the gym(so toot his horn if you want) but I didn't need a crystal ball to tell me that I was overmatched. In fact..Stunners is going to get run out the building in the same way...
See...In Div.1, 2nd is the new 5th if you have a very strong older team that is the favorite. See, I get a Home Game(made 624K my cut was 416K) and then an away game against a team with a good size arena(Sharman)(my cut was 204K) and then on Monday I didn't have to pay salaries. So that wasn't that bad. What is sad is...Sharman will rent players to win the cup and he will rent players to win the JBBL, so why not rent and take a run at the BB3? Who knows...maybe next season he will.

Yeah....everyone knows this...I was mainly talking about his strongs...If they guaranteed that all your players would go up to 9 after a GS training,(only if they were at 7 or 8) that would be worth it, but to still have strongs..that just doesn't seem worth it. And also..He didn't beat me because of the GS training, he beat me because of the extra 380K in salary. In fact..He will be able to get a 3 game Final from Stunners, there is no way he will lose a game he doesn't want to.

Just adding something about the 9's on five of his players his players...they're proficient, I think you forgot proficient GS doesn't have sub levels, right?

Now, given the situation you laid out, what else could you do but accept defeat and focus on training? Not sure. You most likely made the right move. Just so you know that having $340k less salary or $20k less average salary doesn't guarantee a loss.

And really, you are only $325k less than he is plus you only have 10 guys to his 13. Your average salary is 70k, while his is 79k.
