When I first saw my league's draftees, I immediately got the feeling that the BB's are trying to make it less likely to acquire young talented players through the draft. It definitely looks like they changed some settings, and it's not only a case of salary adjustment.

I really wanted to screenshot my draftlist yesterday, but I couldn't since they had closed it.

I spent a lot of draft points this year, much more than normal years, but if I knew they were making changes across the quality of draftees relative to existing pool of players, I wouldn't have spent that much.

Meh, My 5/4, A+ player has a $ 4 083 salary, and you can see his so-so skills below:

holes in driving and passing aren't repercuted in salary
Look at mine who also was 5/4 A+

Just curious - what´s wrong with your draftee? Better than any player but one I ever got via draft.

My draftee is pretty much a clear-cut #1 pick (even though I got him at #5), because almost every other draftees in my league are much less skilled than usual. That's the main issue. But still, my guy has holes that are relatively long to address, and considering he is A+, there should be a decent chance he was able to contribute right away in some fashion.

We only had an influx of 5/5s this season. Nothing out of the normal from the last.

That said, despite players being at a lower level, they seem to have quite high potential compared to the previous seasons. A lot of MVPs and HoFs.

Best player I've found so far has 4k salary with 7s across his skill set, although he has 1 skill at 1.


I agree with u. Players are generally worse, but more players are with higher potential, but what is the use of a 18yo (or even 19) superstar draftee with multiple pitiful or awful? I hope a BB can make some clarification over this.

Hmm. I guess I've been spoiled so far then. I've always seen better drafts before. Or maybe my mind is playing tricks on me ;)
