Phew close game mon. Commander my C playing @ PG had a triple double & Kelly dropped 55 easy points. Lucky for me
Gavin Couperwhite & Horace Ward are out injured & I left out Garry Waterworth. Only had 2 of my best 5 in & still nearly blew it. Yes you guys worked out my secret. It had been hard. Tried to lose every game but still won 2. Why not just play 3 guys you say? I still am trying to have some fun, get individual player achievements & get my training done. Last season I had 5 NT players & it was very hard but much easier now with just the 2. XD

I'm still not sure I get it. You've been around for a fair few seasons now and only recently got relegated back from the ABBL. Surely a div three league like this one is the equiv - or worse - of us guys going back to a fourth rung league? Each to his own I guess.

Any tips for us rookies still trying to climb into the second division?

Welcome and yes Deano, security first and foremost. Try and train you're own talent if possible. Get that arena up, the earlier the better(saves you building it in later years and it makes no difference to overheads other than initial cost to build). Read the forums heaps, you'll get tonnes of useful infomation. I wouldn't really bother buying established players unless it's a must have and your going for promotion or something along those lines. I agree mate, winning as much as possible I found is more productive than tanking and alot more fun I will add and yes it's a better choice short-medium term but long-term and especially if you intend to dedicate solely to training some NT youths it does have it's benefits. Anyways good luck and feel free to ask any questions. And g'day to all my former league mates and good luck for the season ahead to all. Cheers.

Well I am always looking for new challanges. Train a player onto each of the Barbados, Bahamas and Jamacian teams. Done. Train a player onto the Australian team. Done. Make the ABBL with a team of Carribean players. Done. Now if I want to take the next step I need to train my own guys but I admit there has been a problem as I haven't found a 3rd trainee I really like. Waterworth & Commander are great but no 3rd star. They are both Cs but this season I am training them @ PG which makes winning really hard. So I will drop to d4. Then I will try to do what I think has never ever been done before. Go 4 3 2 1. Not sure I will succeed but Waterworth & Commander will sure be there being a big part of my attempt.

Targess gives great advice. Build your arena. Train your talent. Be patient. Hoard money. Then when the time is right strike. I have $12,314,000 in the bank, a fully built arena & 2 great trainees. I will breeze through d4 next season & should do the same in d3 the season after. Then will be the really fun season when I try to win d2. Hope I have enough left after that to win d1. That is the plan anyway :D

This will be a hard week Cressie Cougars & Dunky Bunch. Going to have to work hard there to achieve my aims. Can't wait until next season.

Big game on Saturday between the Dogs and High Street Elite. This is a clash which could determine fifth, with the loser likely to find it very hard to claw their way into the top-four at this late stage of the season. This is the final for the sides not likely to make finals. It's on like Kong!

The other big game was Windies v Caza Town Crunchers despite low enthusiasm, low effort & a C @ PG I still won. Not often you see a PG get 17 rebounds but Commander just missed a triple double with 9 pts, 9 ast & the 17 reb. That was 2 wins in a row. This must stop!!!

Two big starters injured right before the playoffs, that'll make it tough to win. I've still got high hopes though :)
