Bad call than. Put any decent mid-range/long-range shooter in Ray's place. All of them have percentage over 75%, mostly well over 80%. It is unrealistic to have better shooting in 3 pointers than in free throws - and a certain player was discussed

GM-Manon referred to Shaq
"And as in comparison to most BB-players he has actually spent a lot time to practice FT's i guess."
Shaq did not succeed in FT not because he did not train it, but because he was lousy jump shooter.
BB players mostly do not train much FT, but having legendary jump shot and scoring 30% of FT is against common sense.
That is why I think, that some other factors should be taken into consideration when deciding if a FT is made or not.
JS and JR are the ones to pick and as they are considered by many to be underpowered such a move could bring more balance and would be more realistic. IS/ID/RB monster - even after spending time training FT would never be able to reach the level of a great jump shooter. Like Shaq, Wilt, Howard were never able to eliminate their weak spot. I am not telling eliminate FT as a skill, but let some other factors decide to some extend (30%, 20%, 40%?) the result of a free throw (JS,JR) to eliminate odd situations.
