It's nice to finally be in D.III. It only took me 18 seasons... Luck has not been on my side. Looking forward to playing and chatting with you guys.

Think I'm high at 9. I need to build some young big guys so this will be my only season in D3 for now. I am going to train some young post players for a couple seasons and come back to D3 when they are ready.

i also agree that that is a LOW ranking for a playoff team, who beat some really good teams throughout his season. 12-10 in this League isn't something that should be overlooked. I look at the roster and having 2 24 yr old SGs its easy that with training throughout the year those players can improve. the roster has balance. I wouldn't have homeboyz that low. especially lower than teams that are promoting up from D4 who haven't proven anything. 12-10 in D3 i respect more than ANY D4 team.

Our BB League III reporter Dickie Peters caught up with Philadelphia Phantasm point guard Timothy Fischer as he was exiting the teams training facilities.

Dickie: "Timothy, what can we expect out of Philly this year?"

Timothy Fischer: "A championship. Anything less than that and the season will be a failure. Obviously we have a talented group of guys and brought in some depth at the end of last season, so expectations are very high"

Dickie: " You're a stud in the regular season, but your playoff performances the last few seasons have led people to question your ability to perform in the big moment. How do you respond to that criticism?"

Timothy : "Next question"

Dickie: "So you won't answer the question?"

Timothy: "No Dick"

Dickie: "Who do you view as your biggest competition in the league this season?"

Timothy: "West Side Tigers is clearly a threat and they manhandled last season in the playoffs like no team has ever done before. We need to stay ahead of them in the standings this season, because home court advantage is huge come playoff time. I'm not worried about anyone else. We have the best back court in the league and some really solid big men, but I know management has a trump card up his sleeve, so I wouldn't be surprised if he brings in a huge front court presence to neutralize West Sides inside attack.

Dickie: "Thanks Timothy"

Timothy : "Later Dick"

man, all we need is philly to make a splashy big man purchase. good lord, i am not excited.

If you can have a 300+k Roster and still be in the positive in weekly income by at least 10k then i would say more power to you. Thats the name of the game. The better players have higher salaries, teams typically but not always with higher team salaries usually are the ones you find around the top.....

And Philly i see your boy Tim claims to be a member of "the best backcourt in the LEAGUE" talk about things like preseason power rankings and preseason MVP etc.... But who really is the best Point Guard and Shooting guard duo in the league?

Mos Def like me... My problem was i had that roster and lived check to check cuz i was still just barely in the weekly negative. so i couldn't have bench depth. But i will take Back to Back Finals appearances, and losing those series 2-1 with a team that 2 years in a row in the playoffs was operating with only 6 players. I have had the most wins or tied for most wins 2 of my 4 seasons in this league (S31 being my 5th season) i have made the playoffs every single season in this league, and have 2 finals appearances in 4 seasons. I will be the First to say its disappointing i haven't found my way to D2, but i can't say that i am disappointed with my strategy and receipe for my time here in D3 so far. lmao

I like that we are finally throwing a little fire man. With Snake leaving you've are now my Big 8 rival. Lets jab a little bit!!!! give our players some fire to this rivalry!
