There has been talks about it, it seems like there is an agreement to allow it, with some limitations, in the future.
For example, if you trained a player from 18yo to 21yo, and you wanna buy him again on your other team when he's 40yo, after he was transferred 20 times, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to buy him.
Buying a player directly from your 2nd team will probably still not be possible though, for the reasonable reasons others seem to have mentioned.
Yes exactly. I can live with not being able to buy a player directly from one team to the other (although I think the potential dangers are greatly overrated), but not being able to buy after they hit the market and go through other teams makes no sense.
