We played the first two matches of the group stage.
Belgium 120 - 79 Scotland
A difficult match against the second place in the world rankings. I tried to play at a slower pace to reduce the score difference, but we still lost by - 41, which was quite painful. MacKissock did a good job in the attack, otherwise the score difference would have been even greater.
Scotland 123 - 139 Austria
We played well in a результативный match. We played with a lower intensity, but with equal intensity, we could have won. We were evenly matched for the first half, but a poor performance in the third quarter decided the outcome. We had a good distribution of shots and a decent shooting percentage. However, we struggled with defense. Interestingly, both teams together made 53 of their 53 free throws.
We have matches with Albania and Slovenia ahead, and we will try to play better.

Albania 95-74 Scotland
One of our worst matches in several seasons. For the fourth match in a row, we played an inside offense, because McClair and Belcher are still not ready to play in the starting lineup. The opponent's coach took a risk, guessed the prediction, set a high mood, strengthened the inside defense, and deservedly won. We didn't have a player in this match who could score a lot and consistently, which is a pity.
Scotland 117-118 Slovenia
We played with a high spirit and lost only in overtime. With an optimal lineup, we could have won all three of our last matches, but we'll never know. MacNiven scored a three-pointer buzzerbeater in overtime, but we were already down by four points.
When will the first victory be? Ahead are Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Bosnia

The tournament turned out to be very disappointing for us, as we lost the remaining three matches and finished last in the group.
Turkey 93 - 88 Scotland
We played with a lot of enthusiasm and determination to win, but we were just a little short of success. Belcher was in form 7 for the past five matches, even though I gave him good weekly minutes, which is inexplicable to me. He reached form 9 for the matches against Azerbaijan and Bosnia, but it didn't make much of a difference. Turkey also had a very bad season, and we're not the only ones.
Scotland 98-113 Azerbaijan.
It was an inexplicable game. We played with less enthusiasm, but it seemed that we had slightly better players, and our players form was quite normal. In the first half, we were doing well, and we created a small lead, but in the second half, we suffered a devastating defensive collapse. We allowed 39 points in the first half and 74 points in the second half. No comments, if this is such a random, then it is merciless.
Scotland 81-96 Bosnia.
Spent the remnants of enthusiasm. Played well in places, but the team of Bosnia is a head stronger. MacNiven played only 10 minutes in the start, MacCosram in the form of 7. Could have shown a result a little better, but it is unlikely that they could win.
This is the first season with me without a single victory in tournament matches. And this is having the strongest roster in my presence. But this does happen sometimes, we let's draw conclusions.
