no, the higher the raise the higher the decrease of the publik ;)

But i think there are differents, if you increase the cost in the level around the starting price you get nearly the same money like if you sold more tickets with lower prices. But i higher dimensions of the prices the extra profit is less(lower tie from 10 to 12 are 20%, from 15 to 17 just ~14%) and a bigger drop of spectators(i don't have studies about it, but i think in this point i'm right)

hm, then I was thinking right, but underestimated the effect.

my seats went from about 1350 to about 1270 if I recall correctly, with only an increase from 55 to 57 in price, while the max is at what, 80?

I also notice I am nearing my max for the lowest priced seats, and rasing the price from 18 to 19, where 20 is max didn't so much drop the attendance, I guess I'd best expand much there and lower my price again...

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

55 *80 > 1270 *2 ;)

And i see bigger drops, with teams who got a long winning run, where i think the fan mood was pretty unimportant ;) Or with teams like me, who normaly win one game and

with only an increase from 55 to 57 in price, while the max is at what, 80?

which harmed this effect, or at least makes it as bad then the one from 78 to 80 ;)

sorry about the thread necromancy, but I've been told to place my question in an existing thread...

has anyone got any idea of the best ratios for an arena as yet?

I've just started selling out my basic 4500/500/0/0 arena, and am considering upgrading it if it's not going to cost me silly money.

On a related note, what about ticket prices.

I've increased the cost of basic tickets to $11, but haven't touched anything else. What kinds of levels are achieveable for a team likely to get relegated from II this season?

It appears that you can only sell a tiny number of Luxury boxes, but the attendance is steady. I have literally increased my luxury boxes in increments of 2, and the attendance has never declined. Whenever the two new seats are sold, I build another 2. I don't know how many you can build straight away, My very first expansion was to 5002, with just the two luxury boxes, and I have increased a bit ever since.

The courtside seats are similar, but they are less than 2% of my seats. The bleachers are much more volatile, but if they are consistently selling out, you are probably very much under your potential in the more expensive seats. If I were you, I might boost my ticket price on the bleachers, and build some more expensive seats and see how they do.

I typically consider expanding after every TV game, and sometimes toward the end of the month when I am setting my new tickets. If I'm consistently coming up short up capacity, I'll drop my ticket price a bit in that section. If I'm filling a section or coming close, I'll either expand that section or raise the ticket price.

The ratio of seat cost/ticket cost ranges from 12.5 to 16.7 in my sections. That probably isn't an accident, the ROI has to be about the same across all ranges.
