Not sure if it was already answered but this is how it works for teams replacing bots:
1) Division final losers (that are not bots of course)
2) Losses in regular seasons
3) Not sure but almost sure aggregate in regular season
4) Conference final losers. Pretty unlikely that this is needed

Wrong. All that matters for the bot clean-up is your regular season record. You want proof? Check out this series from last season: (/BBWeb/standings.aspx?LeagueID=142&Season=6). Crazyzeus promoted into my league in division II - he did not make it into the finals. The finals loser is still down in division III.

Please do not post in the help forum unless you know something for sure.

On the other hand, some GMs do. (not you)

I agree with that in general but then it is probably best to add a qualifier. Something like - I think this is the case but I'm not 100%.

Again tell that you fellow GMs, I think (lol) that others tend to add such qualifiers much more often.)

(it is ok when GM is right, but not when he provides confusing or incorrect info)

I think your answer was very rude and unjustified. I went through my division very carefully and this was my conclusion from it. Before promotion I wrote down what teams that would get promoted according to best finalists and I checked that and I could not see a difference. I even said that I am not 100% sure but almost. Of course you can be wrong even if you are very certain about things but if you should demand that much of people you are in serious problems.

It might be so that either the finalist losers actually was the best teams according to regular season records so that the teams I had on my list actually promoted due to that or that I made a mistake when checking what teams that actually was promoted and missed that my theory did not hold.

I can excuse myself for making wrong judgements but I can't think it is ok to dismiss people like you GM-thenewchuckd just did.

According to your theory we should straight away stop the thread "Training Speed Analysis" as there actually are noone that knows for sure.

Actually any thing written in these threads that are incorrect should be receiving a warning or?

I heard people complaining about the attitude from some of the GMs in the global forum and this kind of arrogant answers makes me understand why they complain about that.

My apologies. I did not see that you said you were not sure. Also, sorry for being rude. Sometimes I can be a bit of an ass.

Apology accepted.

Might have overreacted as well but I do think that a very qualified guess could be better than no answer at all.

I think this is how clowns got accepted as real in Hattrick.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

And here on BB boards (I don't mean anyone particular, everyone has their "favourites").
