there should be "pools"

Actually, this sounds like an interesting idea to me. They already do something like this in the NT games, so why not the domestic cups as well? Any opinions on this?

Edit: Actually, reading the previous post back to myself and then my reply, I'm actually suggesting a completely different thing, i.e. something similar to the NT games rather than the "pools" system which was proposed above. I think I prefer my suggestion over the "pools" one. Still, anyone else think it's a good idea?

Again, how it is "totally unfair"?

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

All teams from my division got bots in first round and I am going out of the cup in the first round because almighty random gave me one of the best teams in my country and because my case is the only II vs II case in Lithuania. I think its unfair.

Both proposals are a great improvement on todays system. I think I would prefer a system where at least the top 64 teams are seeded, such that the top two ranked teams cannot meet before the finals, the top four before the semifinals and so on (i.e. a standard tennis drawing). Bot teams should never be seeded.

As long as the cup becomes more of a competition and less of a lottery I am satistied though.

Same with me.
I´m playing in the 3rd and have to play against a team from the 2nd - it´s so annoying!

Do BB want to keep Bots instead of reals teams in the 3rd round? - why?

I can´t belive it and i really hope this is the last time it will happen!

There are so many ways how to be annoyed by this game, I like that so much.

If the cup was seeded (a horrible idea IMO) then you could theoretically eliminate the bots earlier if all humans were seeded first.

But isnt the idea of the cup that it can be a fairytale journey for some teams and an abrupt shortlived romance for others?

There is no need for the cup to be seeded (i agree it would be a bad idea). It's enough to make small adjustments to the draw mechanism. If there are N bots, you can impose for the first N matches of each round to have one (and only one) bot picked.

But isnt the idea of the cup that it can be a fairytale journey for some teams and an abrupt shortlived romance for others?

Without bot vs bot games there would be more active users (mainly from smaller teams) moving to the next rounds.
Unless you consider a 'fairytale journey' playing several games against a bot (where is the fun beside the money?) I don't see which teams would be penalized.

Again, I am fine with two teams from Div I playing each other in the first round of the cup. That's not the point of my suggestion.

there is no more fairness then in total randomness. ;)

each rume implied, each limitation made, will benefit some teams more then others...

What's the fun in having bots playing against each other?

Last thing I saw was a big many people complainting they had to play against bots, and they'd rather play real people, which would be more exiting, the perfect way to have more real players play each other is by having the bots face each other...
no I read some want to play the bots rather then a real person...

Obviously we can never do good for everybody....

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

I hate sometimes that random system. But it's the funniest thing.... or the saddest thing....

The Cup doesn't give many cash.... and is better play against a BIG TEAM in the earlier rounds instead never play against them...
