GM-Rip could be persuaded by an enthusiastic Indian manager ;)
He ran for the England U21 team http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr.... I think I saw that he ran somewhere else but I can't remember what country it was.

but i think that the U21 manager should be a player of indian community since he/she will be able to have better interactions.these are the ones i think should be the ones in the decreasing order of preference
tungi(for sure to be placed at the 1st place)(50485)
prezanto(194805)
jeyjey(50507)
BBchamp(why not place me!!!!!!!)(194820)
these are the one who have the capability of managing the U21 NT.........
i would love to see if anyone of them is intrested to manager the U21 NT............

As for Tungi, I totally agree. But Prezanto is mute & Jey² only comes once in a while... I'm fine if you let one of them be senior manager but not U21. Juniors represents the top-of-range category. They make a future turn into a bright present.

A small country needs to have a reference, someone to beat, to catch up with. In Thailand we have Siam Dau and Somdestfinest. They both are senior and junior GM, but look at the results... I don't think that a player can handle 4 competitions per week: National Championship, Cup Tournament, Buzzer Beater's Best & International games.

If Yogi or Prezanto take control of the U21, I think they'll be drowned by the mass of work that it requires. And it's not good for the development of your country. Just take a look at our U21 results. Good intentions but it requires too much time. The guy needs to live in real life too...

Honestly, there are a lot of issues with U21:
- Training programs
- Week to week discussion with the respective managers,
- Handling game shapes,
- Opponent analysis
- Saving players from turning bots
- ...
I had to help höfaingi this season as there were lot to do!

And about you... I don't really know you well, so I won't say anything. But if you feel like you can handle the job, then I'll be glad to see your program when the elections will run ;-).

I'm not trying to insult but I don't think prezanto and jeyjey will make a good NT manager. Their teams may be good but as managers, I feel that they don't truly know about some complex things, such as tactics, lineup, gameshape management and so on.
I've sent BBmail to GM-Rip. I'm not sure if he'll reply though. Hopefully he will!!!

Hof: How much time is required to manage U-21 NT??? I know it's not an easy job but depending on the time, I may be able to run (but very unlikely).

If you are asking about time...than its very random.

How do you want to work it? You have to see what you want to do and you can see how much time you want or have to spend on that.

Will you have some assistant? Scout? how many? that could help you a lot and you don't have to spend as much time over the season but you have to get guys or girls that you trust as scout. you still have to spend a lot of time in the beginning of each season going over the draft.

some times I spend 1 hour a week but the other week I spend 5 hours. Well I take into this a little from my own team. Also if everything is going fine than its more fun and you spend more time on working on your team. Thats fact!

Also having good co-worker in the NT team helps a lot. My first season wasn't fun at all. the NT manager didn't talk to me and at the end of the season I was just like Justin Bieber JOKE! I had not much fun of the game but NT23 came and more activity on the forum made me wanna work more and get some results.

I think you will be able to run it because you will have ester brake from school to go over the draft? and NT23 will help you out on your first season. and you also can contact me and I will follow the India forum :)

Do you know about this player Diganta Subramanyam (16287598). Looks like he has a good owner and is being trained properly.

Udari Morje (20169013) (Last seen 28/2/2011) will go bot too. He is only allstar potential but has a high salary.

From this thread (178691.1):
- April 18: The draft happens during the off-season processing on Monday night, but it may take until Tuesday before the process is finished.

I read a post from a BB (can't find that message at the moment) saying that the timeframe for inactive teams (that never logged on once) to go bot has been extended to 7 "financial updates." So, for the next draft, 18 year olds from Indian teams that were last seen after the 7th of March can be saved quickly. :)

(Fairly sure my maths is right. Might have to double-check it)

I know of teams here that have been botted 6 financial updates later. If the 7 weeks is a change fro next season I can't say I have read it anywhere.
