Lol do you watch basketball at all? IS can be useful for any player. Any player can score inside. Even if it doesn't affect the match rating, IS on a guard still helps the guard make shots that are close to the basket.

Check the Suggestions they are important

People new to the game have a higher purchasing power than before and will maybe catch up and beat us with more rounded players

I can't see a new player advancing very fast by creating rounded players. I have been down that road. It is a hard one, let me tell you, as at the beginning I watched people who trained guards and Cs advance to the top while I stayed down in lower divisions training balanced SFs.

As usual I'm confused by the news. Can someone confirm me if I undestand it right?
1) some additional pops in unrelated skills - this pops will be randomly distributed to unrelated skills each skills or specific value by the same formula every training?
2) if a player has for example IS 5, all the other skills 15, will be IS training faster than before due to elastic effect? and on the other hand IS 15, all the others 5, IS training will be slower than before?

People think a SG only has to shoot the 3, pass and defend...

Ever heard of the triple threat ? If you can score inside, it forces your defender to step away from you and give you room to prevent driving, which helps your long-range shooting. Keeping defences honest is the basis of basketball, yet some of you think a guy who can only shoot will still be wide open...

That may be true, even in BB, but why take the choice away from the manager? If a manager wants to develop crappy players with high salaries, he should have the right to do so.

The ratings don't mean anything. In game I think having IS is really useful.

I also want to know. We know random skills can improve, but can your trained skill be pulled up by a random skill too?

Like if do a specific training, can it be boosted randomly by any unrelated skill?

I can't really argue with that.
I'm guessing it's possible the BB's saw lack interest, or foresight, by some managers for secondaries, or SB for bigs, as a potential downfall for the long-term success of the game. Maybe they try to make people realize "by themselves".

Congrats training SFs, it's true it's very hard. I like it that you tried to play the game against the mainstream.
But your team was successful from the begininng. Two promotions in your first 3 full seasons doesn't look like a struggle, you did well enough :)

I don't know what is exactly advancing very fast. Now that the game is more mature, it's not possible to advance as fast as before. Even in lower leagues, several teams are at their salary cap and at a bottleneck point, they may need more rounded players at some point to make a difference. They are at their salary cap, they can't continue hammering on primaries anyway.
It may take them longer than before but it's already longer than before.

Cross-training is tiny, there will still be a lot of beloved crappy players and they will continue to dry out the GM's money. Guaranteed.
Untrained skills will remain crap if they started crap.

There was no one in division III Canada back then. I appreciate your positive spin but promoting from an (almost) bot league is not exactly worth celebrating. ;-)
