Man, I'm just trying to get homecountry youth,...........its hard when you only got like, 30k, I'm expecting to go to 50k when I win/lose tonight......I probably have to wait!

PS;Wait, MVP is the third best potential..............how is that not NT good? do you really need to have a HOF and higher to make it there or a really young guy with like, Superstar to start with?

EDIT; should I wait for after the draft when theres a lot of wars (to get a young MVP for less than 50k) or go for it now, since like, 90% of em are going to be out of my range...........or wait till week after?

If you are trying to get an MVP, look for one that has been trained well this season. You might not find many of these with your current cash, so then you might want to wait until the draft, since you are in D5. There are 5 expansion teams and 2 other teams that haven't logged in since at least 4/21. That technically moves you 7 spots up and gives you a better chance for a good draftee.

To answer your second question, if you have a BIG with MVP potential, they are probably not making the NT. If it is a guard, then you have a good chance, if trained accordingly. Also, if you have an SF with superstar potential, and that SF is a balanced one, then you might have a legit shot for the NT. For example, look at Bill Weeks (11772141) and Irwin Velasco (8868669) . There is a PF that has superstar potential as well (Frank Tanner) (14602057) , but this doesn't happen too often.

I would say, first wait for you league draft. If you buy an MVP player right now, they will turn 19, unlike if you drafted someone with superstar potential that was 18.

Hmmmm.............2nd pick after CRF right? (Humanly, not technically) It does give me a good chance, but only checked two guys............5/3 PF and 5 rating SG............should I let them be picked or just play the guessing game?

Play the guessing game. Are you looking for a guard or a big? If you want the PF, the 3 potential could be anywhere from star to allstar, so you are taking a gamble there. He would be a good player for your team, but if you get to D.III or D.IV, he runs the risk of capping. Do you know the total rating of the SG? And how tall are both of these guys?

That SG looks really good. Do you have the other number for him because 5/? for all we know could be 5/1. 5/3 from the PF isn't that good if you want to make him the cornerstone of your team.

I personally spent...mayhaps too much money on scouting... but it paid off, because I have a ton of prospects and a solid draft position. 5/4 6'6 PG with A+ grade, a 4/4 C, 5/2 A- 19 PF , some mystery 5/? 6'6 SG w/ box of " 2-11 fg, 0-2, 2-3 ft, 1 or 2 tr, 1 assist, 3 to, 2 steal, 2 block, 0 fouls 6 pts" Not great seemingly? but probably a 2/3 for potential.
Then I didn't interview, but there are 2 guys that scored 30+ pts, and a 2/? , were "higher player #" so maybe solid potentials... but, the draft is deep enough with things I could use, hopefully the 6'6 PG guy comes my way. That I'm not complaining one way or the other.

D V is pretty much the bread and butter time for scouting and drafting I feel, unless you're having a horrible season, and avoiding relegation and know you should look at draft.

then my player has no chance, because there is a U-21 25k salary center, and if my player is so, I think that salary exceeded without problems, but will not be in U-21 tell me once to sell and give priority to youth who will select in the draft, greetings!

sorry for my english, translator rulezz!!! xD

Alfree, being the guy who owns 1 of your 5 biggest competitors for a U-21 Center/PF player... Its all in the training, and injuries can happen. So I'd say stick with him 1 more season, then check back to see how you match up... if its no good then, then sell him. Unless your being in Division III doesn't give you the luxury of that.

The 2 are pretty comparable

With P-Allstar, he's looking nice. Need to inrease his passing. In My league, An 87k, P.Allstar Potential was here. HE was on and off of the U21 team. Obviously the team he was on (Before they sold him) is rebuilding.

HE is probably capped And it wouldn't be suprising if his salary was 90k+.

I would like to call the USA Community's attention to this player, Michele Bello:

(24740926)

18yo, 7'1", ATG potential, $4900 salary, could he be the dominant big man to lead the USA NT for years to come? I wanted to get him in the draft but another team in my league snatched him before I picked. I hope that someone can contact his manager and get him either to sell or train really, really hard. ATG potential on a young, talented big man is a once in a generation thing. Let's not let it get wasted.
