To echo what a couple of others have said, I think moving the trading deadline up two weeks would be a great idea so that teams can't just rent players for the playoffs in the last week of the regular season.

I wish there were pigmen. You get a few of these pigmen walking around I'm looking a whole lot better. Then if somebody wants to fix me up at least they could say, Hey he's no pig-man!

I agree

right now it's total nonsense, the day before the deadline everyone knows what position they're in. If they're in relegation spot they're always loading it up so that they can stay. If you a playoff team you loading up for finals. It's ridiculous. The game isn't really that fun if you know your position and making moves to fight the bad thing to happen. Raising it 2 weeks would take prediction and already cash to keep the player. So if you're in a relegation spot you don't really know if you can catch 5th. You don't really know if you can catch the playoff spot with your roster. It takes enthusiasm and GS to prove that.

this stocking up the money before playofs is still bad. I think if it gets pushed 2 weeks earlier more people would be involved with the game.

In all of my time here, I have yet to see a relegating playoff time "load up". Me thinks you are exaggerating a wee bit.

I looked at 3 leagues, yours, mine, and D.III.13, only 1 team in relegation bought players near the deadline. That was in your league. I hope this is not a news flash, but they were not going to lose that series anyway. Plus the 2 players they bought were hardly "loading up". I'm not saying it doesn't happen, however you make it seem like everyone is doing it. interestingly you would think teams in D.III would do it more since the revenue is drastically better then in D.IV.

I think that 2 weeks earlier is not enough.
IMHO, the trading deadline should be placed at the end of the ASG or maybe should be placed after the last game with the team of the other conference.

I think with a deadline that early, you really take teams out of the race with injury. You could lose a starter with 7 games to go, which would hinder you not only talent-wise, but could possibly ruin your game shape as well. That could be the difference between a promotion run, and fighting off relegation.

I have to agree with the thoughts on not changing the trading deadline. I've been playing the game for quite a long time and can't really think of an instance where somebody has "stocked up" at the last minute to win a playoff series to advance. Usually the last minute purchase's are either overpriced with little impact, or big time purchases that somebody has been saving to make quite a while. Those big time purchases are by teams that are going to be a factor in the playoff's anywase. As the game in general is designed to be a marathon process of improving, the teams that do go and "buy" a title seldom are going to hold on after promoting, especially at the higher divisions - in my opinion. Likewise, the teams that build through time may promote, end up demoting and be ready to promote in a season or two.

This is my 2nd run at Div I
last time around my competition spent big at the deadline and I matched them
this time around nobody spent an extra cent in my division
really depends on the individuals
I bought my key addition a month ago but needed tp purchase a backup big man because of injury just prior to the playoffs

Agree 100%.

(If only BB didn't care more about transfer list prices than the actual season...)

how does the trainers salary affect his experience in training? higher salary means more experience or better trainer? or just time to replace?

I hope changes won't be drastic, cause many teams and NT-s have long-term training strategies that are related to this engine. Changes are welcome, don't get me wrong, but if they are carefully implemented. LI rules because there are not players who can defend it, it's easier and cheaper to train centers with high DR/IS then with blocking.

Anyway, nice to see you guys "from above" did not forget about community. Best of luck in your work.
