i've just finished trying to scout TKI for tomorrow's game, and i have a new appreciation for just how good a manager magiker is.
he's gone through an entire season, with Cup games, around 25 games, and has played his best lineup, i figure, just a handful of times. most games, he wins big or loses big. he has carefully calibrated his performances (in an early season loss to me, he sat a key player), ended up in second place, has his players in great shape (his team's DMI is 20% higher than mine, and concentrated in 6 players, mine is distributed among 8), and has done just enough to be unpredictable (i was going to defend against LI, but then he beat TnT with a very effective motion offense).
i feel like that joke where i am playing checkers and my opponent is . . . not. i don't feel so good.
