I wouldn't sell yourself short, the race for the #1 seed really looks to be whoever wins our game next Tuesday and you didn't get to 200 league wins by rolling over in road games!

I had to go out and make an extra acquisition today in order to better prepare for that game (and because I have a player who's dropped so many times in the past couple seasons that I don't think I can really rely on him anymore). Only question is whether I can afford to maintain this roster for the playoffs.

i see your scrounging around the same old folks' home as me! my PR guy has come up with a new slogan: "The Register-Guard The Last Team on Your Resume"

you are kind, brother Dunkface, but the whipping you gave me in my building convinced me your reassembled team is now playing on a higher level than mine. you are right, i will give our game my best shot, but i'm not sure we are close enough so that my choice of tactics or a different lineup will make any significant difference. i think the NBBA title is yours to lose, especially since you left the Cup crown for the rest of us.

Oh man is this game gonna die soon? I didn't pay much attention this season and sold off my 100k guys hoping to demote with a high draft pick. Just looked up the standing and found out most of the teams are tanking harder than I am. Isn't about time we move this game to an app?

Yeah this game is kinda designed if u don't get a shot to win it all, it's better to tank and save $$$$

With so many teams tanking, the value is in being the team who spends the least but doesnt demote. That's probably the route I'll take after my peak is done, I'd rather just sit around 4th-5th place and make a little less but never have to go down to II.

Harder now with the 5th place team having to win a relegation series though.

Floating at 4-5 for seasons seems very boring to me. This game is aleady becoming so dry, I would prefer doing some training and competing for a championship at DII and come up here again for the promotional/attendence bonus.

this game needs a hard salary max to make things more competitive... the max and min salary range is still too wide. I am below the salary floor by 80k but here is no incentive to buy a prime player at 80k salary bc he would just depreciate in value.

Hey H, don't be giving up my secrets:-)...I try to train some youngsters, but it isn't easy to do that and stay up. I only have two real trainees, but I must admit that training is one of the fun aspects of the game. At this level, many of us rely strongly on our older players—and it isn't fun to watch their skills deteriorate;-(
