Ok, now take a look on ACBB 1st league on Spain:

Maximium arena is 20.000.

Its a little bit weird no? That the country who has more managers in BB has not a big arenas. Im not on ACBB but the level there is really high, and they have to spend a lot of money in good players rather spending money on arenas.
And i would say more, some of them arent in a good economic situation.

One smart manager could also consider spending less on players for one or two seasons and instead develop his arena. Afterwards he can make a comeback and be stronger than others because of his better economical possibilities...
STH is still a good way to balance the max number of attendance.

Unlike GM-LoD I'm rather curious than worried about the new changes.
I expect the new system to be an extra feature rather than the removal of the old financial limitations.
The way I see it, the STH limitation is downsized a bit but not scrapped, and in addition the TV-money fluctuates. This way monster-arena's will be a no-go, but "large" arena's will have their right of existence. At present, several top-teams still haven't reached the limit of building a large arena.(+-25000 seats?)
If BB's monitor both parameters in future and adjust them wisely when there is the need for it, they'll have my full support.
The weekly fixed number for TV-money equally for all teams was something I disliked from the moment it was implemented anyway.

Climbing the BB-mountain. Destination: the top.

And for example, you see top 10 list of the largest arenas in the BB world and for me it isnt a surprise to see some countrys there.

germany was from start on, not so small in comparison to the other countrys, that the first month was a advantage against the opposition is afaik well known ;)

We make this trend, i would say because we see this solution first, after an sucissor in league one makes good effects with it ...And if you start early it wasn't that big problem, because if you invest 200k it, you will have soon additional 100k to build it and so on - because till 20k arena it is very lucrative.

They right..
Btw, I think you say it because you won yesterday but if you were defeated your speech was different ..
I think thats the best decision and respect to the BBs for the brave decision..

Thats greatness to recognize your mistake in the time and fix it as fast as possible and thats what they do..

I agree with you that a long term strategy is a reasonable thing for a game to have, but the situation we saw developing wasnt just that we didnt want people to have to plan ahead, rather it was that in the long term, when everyone in d1 gets a huge arena and are the only ones with enough fans to support it then it would be impossible for any promoting team to compete and they would be sent down immediately. We want a gap in divisions, but not an insurmountable gap, and the old system was headed toward and insurmountable gap and had to be changed... in addition we have he ongoing economic balance to keep in mind and this was a way to kill two problems with one change.

that being said, its not like arena size isnt important anymore... we believe building arenas will still be important, just that at some point its usefullness runs out. So for a team working its way up through the leagues, trading off winning now, versus building for the future is still a dynamic we believe is part of the game.. its just at the highest level we dont think it makes sense to have arena sizes just run away indefinitely.

Haven't you considered you're punishing people who login the game long time ago?

i'm a 3season player i still in II division because my way of see the game and basketball and no matters, my arena is 10 365 in a slowly gowing up... but what happens to the people who has 2 more sessions in his carreer and now the see how you are cutting down their efforts?

Oh yeah you are giving back the money that the spend at the moment of the build...

but i'm pretty sure than 100 000 in season 3 are not the same 100 000 today...

I'm felxible cause i don't base my game view in motor engine so whatever, however and whenever the change comes, it will be welcome

Sorry for my poor english

I see. Understandable, and I even agree (write it down, this is an historical moment ;) ).

From my personal point of view though, I still don't like it. Especially since you need to compensate the money you lower from arena's by raising money from something users don't have that much control over.
But my reason is stronger then my feelings, so I'll be able to live with it.

In any case, I'm glad for my posts, the reactions of the other managers, and the BB-reactions, since it has given a much better view on why the changes where made, and made me understand better, and now I can view on it from a diffrent angle then I first did.
I hope it did the same for the ones reacting to my posts they totally agreed with me.

PS: I'm still going to finish my project. ;รพ
PPS: So far I managed my team totally diffrent then most would think wise, so why would I stop, I'm still running strong (well, if we forget about that loss last saturday.. ) ;)

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.
