Fantastic work and very well thought out. The one area of disagreement is the draft. I still think even though it is unrealistic that if the team picking first is Welsh then the first player taken is Welsh, if a Scotish team is second then the player is a Scott etc.

i don't like the part with the draftee nationalities, for two reasons.

1. If a small nation get big enough i hope they could split up again, else we don't need the differentation in the "british" league etc. Then they aren't trainee of the playing nation anymore.

2. Especially in small nation the NT often works over sacrification, which means that relativ week trainees still have a shot at the U team, if trained well. Also the NT needs those players. So if i am a irish player, who maybe have a rivality with the the english ones(i could imagine that) and i get a scrub who could be still formed to a nt i wouldn't sacrify a training spot to do so.

I really disagree with this. I think there a ton of people that like Micronations. They include:
1) Flag Collectors
2) People that want to have players from "funny" places like Khazakstan or Jamacia.
3) People that want to train players for U21/NTs but can't afford $2,000,000 to get a rookie suitable for the Spanish NT.
4) People from small nations that want to develop players from their own nation.
5) People that like to be a big fish in a small pond.

But the issue is the lack of competition and interest is just too severe in these micronations and puts people off staying in the game. So combining them into bigger regions with at least 200 human controlled teams for league (but not NTs, Cup etc) would solve these problems without taking away the advantages.

But I think in that way there is the risk that someone else noticed , that if top teams are welsh and last teams are irish for example , best drafts come out as welsh. We might even end up with farms fighting for the last spot in league.

(I will talk again with an example so its more understandable)

1.If Enlish teams become so many that need their own league once again , then its doable in one offseason to just take all english teams from british leagues and reform all the english leagues from scratch. Yes that means that all the drafts of other british nationalities will not be considered playing in homeland now and they will lose some marketing revenue , but like the vast majority of the teams will benefit from instant promotion to higher leagues so they will cover the loss. (the same way the rest british teams will benefit also).
But that is something that needs too much attention , because you cannot take the english out of the british leagues and in 2-3 seasons that maybe the number of users decline again , you want to implemend them back. It lacks fairness and stability in so many ways :)

2. I know what you mean , I was the coach of Cyprus U21 for 2 seasons. First of all if you get a scrub and you decide not to use him , even if you don't sell him but you decide to fire him , with the new rules (if I am not mistaken) that guy gets into the transfer masket for 1.000$ , or if he is not the BBs could fix that so he is "saved". And also doing the drafts the way I am saying gives better chances (for example for the Wales that have only 15 active teams at the moment) their best drafts to get into active teams and not to be lost in bot teams.

Fired players only become free agents if they have salaries of over $5,000. This was the announcement:

Also, as we announced in the mid-season news, many players who are fired from their teams are no longer going to take to retirement so easily. Fired players (or players who are released from abandoned teams) will list themselves on the transfer market at a starting price of 10 times their initial salary, or 1 million dollars (whichever is smaller). If they can’t find a team interested in them at that price, they will begrudgingly accept retirement. Pro-amateur level players (those with salaries of 5,000 or less) won’t bother with this procedure, as they need to start looking for another job right away. This change is effective as of now.

So that 18 year old 7'5" Hall of Fame $4,995 player who is fired will NOT become a free agent.

Even worse they need to have a salary of $10,000 to become a free agent if their team becomes a bot.

yes I didn't remember that exactly but the BBs could fix that in a better way :)

as I said this was not a complete solution , just the main idea that the BBs could work their way :)

It's up to NT coach to save players. BB has already totally flooded the market far too much.
