i am sorry but it is totally legal.

sometimes people change their mind and they want to keep the player but in some cases they try and drive the price up...

i wont comment what i believe is happening in this case, but it is legal and happens quite alot...

its possible he changed his mind to sell him / worried he wont reach the value he places on him rather than it being a trick.

i struggle to value players still but i reckon that guy might have gone for less than 1m. i really doubt he would make more than 1.2m, although sometimes people pay extra for the HOF potential - which is silly really especially for guards!

the guy is still bidding on his own player. if soemone ends up overpaying, i will report this transfer. no way this player is worth 1.7 or 1.8 million or even more.

what do the rest think??

Look on the bright side, at least if someone is stupid enough to pay that much for him, you know they're going to train him.

Haha, I know, I meant if someone was willing to outbid the owner, which obviously no-one did.

So in this case he paid for the player to stay, doesn't that just back into his own balance, rather than losing that money?

may be he listed him by mistake or changed his mind! im surprised someone bid up to 1.7m, unless that is all the money he had to guarantee he wouldnt be sold
