When this game is becoming more important to manage a team and not to be the coach* that can make lot of users keep leaving the game.

its a basketball management simulator not a basketball coach simulator.

we are not the coach.

we are the manager

other then that your completely correct.

to be clear i did not mean any offense to you, and i may have just misunderstood the part i quoted .
your one of the players i highly respect in this game , so i dont doubt that you understand the game , just to me it seems your upset that a management game is about managing something...... to me that seems well weird .

Free Agents. They lower the transfer prices by adding a big percentage of availbale players on the market, AND every time a free agent is bought, al the millions disappear out of the game instead of being spread forth and forth to new clubs via transfers etc. 2 major game affections.

I tend to think of Free Agents as part of the game's effort to take out money from the game that is introduced by income, tv contracts, etc. Of course money needs to be disappearing from the game, since money is being created within the game as well.

Yes. My point being that playing with this issue really has impact.

The point that Marot want to underline is that the managerial aspect of the game, that surely is very important, should be at the service of the "sports" aspect of the game
When some aspect of the managerial part, like the economy,is a too strong limitation for the sports aspect of the game,it means that something had to be changed

I don't think that stopping free agents is the only solution to the actual situation, the type of imbalance in the game it's the same that existed at the beginning when the free agent exists, when they were eliminated, and when they were reinserted again.free agents are an aspect of the situation, but surely not the main aspect

I have to agree with LA Kukoc, the market also allows the new managers to gain traction and get a team together, when the market goes high, only top teams can even look at them, they make more money and get the better players, so how can anyone ever compete. Even when you get to the top you are about 10 million behind in money so you get bought out of contention.

It is about timing, at some point they will have to stop with the free agents, which they will do, but creating a more even playing field is a good things

I think that deflation period where are now is inevitable. Free agents only boost it, but they aren't the reason.

The reason is that where aren't much old players whose salary would go down because of skill pop-downs, but there are plenty of young players whose salary is raising every season because of training. That means that clubs have to pay players more salary every season and because of that our expenses are raising. Our incomes remain at the same time relatively same, so we have less money to spend on TL, which causes decreased demand(deflation). That deflation will be naturally over when players salaries wouldn't increase dramatically every season.
Of course BB could insert some money in the system, but they have to give a big thought where and how much to insert to have a desired effect. If they do it unwisely we could end up with another big inflation and some players unfairly getting advantage\disadvantage.

Well, people can finally realise that players with potential under allstar are in fact a better decision, because evey level of the potential means also bigger salary raise with every skill.

Sad is that now you will sell fully trained star very cheap. While in fact will be big moneysaver for the next owner. However economical situation like this will help people to realise that.

300k? users sign up weekly? I dont know how many quit per week but thats 60,000,000,000 thats just been generated.

No 3000 - (from the community page this week I can see 3236 users signed up in the past 7 days) now considering we are staying pretty stagnant around 55,000 total users, I can only assume we are losing about the same as are joining each week and this figure from memory Ive seen about the same every time I've checked.
