Like i said before it is bullshit. Just lost private league final of this. Guy knew i a gona attack inside because i had no choice. his od ratings 11,5 while id 7,5, its no brainer to attack inside, but now i regret. my 14-13-12 IS guys had 0,7 ppp against 11 id:D nice? BECAUSE FEATURE GAVE HIM +2 ID RATING AND IT ACTUALY WAS 9,5. now unbalanced teams can be way more unbalanced and compensate everything with gdp....I said it before,m expected that. Now time to lose some league games. Now i am being forced to play outside against 11 od rating rather than inside against 9 id.... its hard to say whats worse.... sio basicly my team just got punished by being balanced and stronger. while unbalanced guys is given +2 ID bonus wtf? Its free stuff for noobs.

You lost because you used 2-3 zone not because of GDP!!! :) How many times we seen that people expect that 2-3 would stop LI and they are disappointed again and again, I've never used 2-3 zone and never will.

This is also illustrates another thing, a lot of teams, as yours, doesn't have another choice but to play LI, because it's cost efficient tactic and even with reduced prices of JR, it's still very expensive to create and maintain team that can play all kinds of tactics.

i have to admit 2-3 zone may have impact. but he got +2 ID levels with lower forms than used too, it helped alot too. Also i failed with let coach decide, yes, he played my best inside shooter at sf, second best at pf and FIFTH best at C lol... Thats why my inside ratings suck. normally i would have teared apart his defence. His ID used to be around average-respecable high. All time around. i tear apart strong defence in league games. at game his defence was proficient thats +2 leveks only because of 1 good quess. His center pf has 11 id both 7and 9 sb respectively. which ratings would you expect? id expect maximum respectable medium but he had like proficient medium......

To be honest it was maybe my first time using 2-3 zone, wanted to practice against upcoming hard league game. ANd i will never use it again. even if my every player can defend every position it still just doesnt work. my lowest id in that game was 9 and lowest od 10..... didnt worked at 117 111 112 skilpoints front court could not do anything, JAy lol

So far looks like the best offense with multiskilled bigs is push the ball, base offense or patient... neutral tactics. And the only 2 defences that work is m v m and 3-2 zone:D

Why do you say his ID should have been 7.5? In his previous PL game he had a ID of 8 (medium), and that was likely with lower enthusiasm and lower gameshape. So, that's only 1 less than his ID in your game (9 -med), meaning that the combination of better enthusiasm, better GS, and the correct GDP guess equaled a rating of 1.0.

That doesn't sound like the GDP was unreasonable to me.

I regret to inform you that the problem here is that your scouting failed you miserably. The guy in the PL semifinal the week before with 5 enthusiasm put up a strong (high) OD and strong (medium) ID. He then had, presumably, three TIEs to raise his enthusiasm. You'll also note that he never had 11 OD (at least not in this season) - he did have 11 IS, which might be another component of your scouting failure. I would think that if this is a game that's important to you that you might have noticed this at some point between the week leading up to the game or the time it took you to type all this up, but hopefully it at least helps you be more careful in the future.

Should have run base O then. In Base Offensive, you play to your team strengths with out the other manager guessing your tactic. I bet by the Allstar break, Base O will be the most used O in the game.

Atm running push the ball against stronger team, Seems like he quessed wrong, because so far this season i have been switching from outside to inside. And yep, i thought about base ofense, it should be even better for me, since players have less stamina than average, But somehow i think in push the ball you get more inside plays than playing normal. maybe because faster pace and more pick and roll.

Just looked at league results, no explanation that gdp is overpowered.
ALL ratings lower, crushing vicotry away with litle more effort.

He got 30 FTs because of GDP - and only 13 in his league opener because he missed both predictions. Clearly, GDP makes your opponents more or less aggressive!

(Of course, he also appears to not TIE and his ratings for the first game and third game on defense are almost identical with the same 3-2 zone and 2 wrong predictions vs. 2 correct predictions, but don't let that interfere with a good paranoia streak!).
