THE HOT 5pot!!!!

With interleague play done and time for teams to make final pushes at playoffs, relegation, and promotion. Lets take a look at the 5 hottest topics so far in the league......

#1 WHO'S the BEST Team in the league?

This one comes as an honest question. If you take the best 3 records in the league and consider those the top 3 teams right now Gaeta doesn't really have a bad loss (all losses are to teams with 10+ wins) but typically at this point in the season III.7 has really had a team that was clear cut in line for promotion and this season we just dont see that... What does that mean for the league... well means more teams that are jocking for playoff spots should continue to do so! If you can get in there's not a team thats "unbeatable"

#2 The Glorious Great 8

The great 8 had another great showing in interleague and had multiple days where NOT 1 Big team got a win! Also the great 8's worst team would be comfortably sitting in the 6th spot on the blue side. Great 8 has 4 teams with double digit wins and 5 teams with + PD non below 30 points!

#3 Talent Distribution

This one goes along with hot topic #1 but there is NO super team. The overall team salaries aren't through the roof. Average league team salary is below 250k. In past years we've seen team salaries upward 350k. Maybe that's the climate of BB and how expensive finding good players are but ONLY 1 TEAM (with a winning record) boast a team that has more than 1 player over 50k on the roster.

#4 Injury Bug

This season has proven to be one of those where the game system has placed multiple important people on the injury report. As we all know this is random. Some seasons no one of significant value hits the injury report and if so its only for 1 week. This season multiple 20k plus players have found themselves on the injury report for 2 weeks+ and some have made multiple trips. There was at one point a team on the Injury list that if they could be assembled together could have easily comprised the best team in the league! So here's so getting some healthy bodies back as teams make last minute pushes!!!!

#5 Manager Activity!!!!

This season like so many here in III.7 has seen plenty of manager activity! the last of the 5 spot is saying THANK YOU!!! to all the active managers keeping the game live and well. Our league uses the GDP quite often, teams adjust lineups and offense and defensive tactics frequently, we are active in the forum. And we are active on the transfer wire buying and selling players. We can only assume that means we are active on the training of players as well. And with that being said its why this league has continued to be a tough but fun league! with our promoting team often finding good footing staying in D2 leagues once they make it.

In conclusion best to you all!!!!!

just want to note that this league was not as active before season 29, when I showed up

III.7 is the best league in BuzzerBeater hands down. Had the most fun in this league with all the active managers. Miss you guys, hopefully our paths will cross someday. I did get to play Ballstars a couple weeks back in the cup and it was nice to go up against a familiar face.

Good luck with the rest of the season!

Thank you refs. Got beat just about everywhere but the foul line. I missed nine, but made thirteen, and he went 2-6. Didn't see pulling that one off.

I've won 11 of my last 12 league games and still can't fill more than 80% of my gym (admittedly, I increased my ticket prices sometime around the all-star break, after having tried to change them and failed right before I was set to play the blue part of the schedule, second time that's happened, I can be air-headed but I don't think I'm that blond.)
It's nice to be solidly in 3rd in such a tough division, after all the struggles I've gone through avoiding relegation, but I can't make money, no one will buy my players, and my team is getting old. Not sure what I can do except hold on and hope everyone else gets bored and quits.
