I dont understand the reference to Bots.

My understanding is that instead of 4 active teams being demoted from a league their will instead be 6 active teams demoted. (4 of these will be auto demoted & 2 will be the losers of relegation series)

The teams that go up will be active teams that have either won their lower league or have one of the best win loss records of the lower division but who have failed to win their leagues championship.

No bots going up and no bots going down (unless one of the 6 teams to be demoted has become a bot through normal circumstances during that season and has finished 7th or 8th in their conference (auto relegation) and or 5th or 6th in their conference and then has lost a relegation series)

Bu saying bot promotion rules he just means the best teams not to win heir league go up. and the teams they replace take their spot in a lower league. I don't see the confusion.
Anyone going up was a strong team in the league. So replacing them with a other strong team will not alter things hugely imo.

Teams who go 22-0 usually are in leagues with tanking teams, bots and managers who are not competing at all. So in my opinion it means that the second best teams from shitty leagues will go up. It doesn't say anything about the relative strength of teams with best records (i.e. a 18-4 team from one league may actually be a stronger than a 22-0 team from another league). In England bot promoted teams are typically taken from weak and non-competitive leagues

Just to be sure : bot promotion is based on win/losses ratio ONLY ? am i right ?

Because i got confused with last year promotion from D4 to D3 in utopia where it was supposed to be "bot promotion" criteria but conference leader (regular season) were promoted in the end.

Should be W/L and then Point Differential. S28 in Utopia used bot promotion rules as well.

The extra spots in promotion for higher leagues will be league winners and the the other spots are going to the team will best record who lost their final?
