that's quite the trainee, are you planning on making him an outside focused/inside focused SF or attempting to build the hybrid all round SF so rare in BB ;)

well if he had MVP protential i would make him a very balanced player, but i read somewhere that inside skills increases a players salary quicker. I want to train him balanced but more outside cause i have a good PG trainee and a good SG (my best player salary wise). It might make more sense to train more outside. The Australian U21 coach sent me a player with his skills and what i should build him like.

Well JR is important for me. Not as important as my friend Super Fly says, but i can understand his point about the salary. If i had 25 skills to split between of the 2 skills would be something like 14-11. HA 11 is enough for me for every one.

My idea when i train one player 1st is to make him useful as soon as it possible. That means that he must able to shoot and D. Everything else is coming after. He has already good enough PA/HA for now, so i would focus in what i told you. Also something that trainers tend to overlook, is that low JR or any other skill that is on the training cycle being low will slow down the training speed in general. Plus what Super Fly said about JR training JS too.

Off topic but norton its like virus by it self. I would not count on it for protection.

Out of the given options I'd rather have the 15/10* as I've seen no real reason the persuade me otherwise. I don't see JR as a great training investment so I'd take the extra levels of JS. However I would ideally want it to be (out of 25 points) 14/11 i think prolific is enough jumpshot to be successful from long range. Although at the end of my training for this player i would hope for 15/12.

*I based my decision after having a look at players with both these skillsets on the TL. I do realize though that basing it on the TL is very subjective.

I agree .

My idea when i train one player 1st is to make him useful as soon as it possible. That means that he must able to shoot and D. Everything else is coming after.

Again I agree especially about training the other skills later, as those skills train faster than JS/OD (passing, handling, driving).

Also something that trainers tend to overlook, is that low JR or any other skill that is on the training cycle being low will slow down the training speed in general.

Do you think the effect of one skill being lower than the other is worth breaking the cycle to increase it to near the same level as the others?

Try not have more than 2-3 skills deferential and you will not experience that affect.
