Tough call on predictions. I happen to be a paranoid fool and assume that everyone but me has 5, maybe 10, no 15 million in the bank to spend on more players. Exaggerate much? Yes, but to an extent. I do assume that a couple of you teams have a fat stash to spend on another player of 2. And of course, injuries can never be accounted for. But if teams basically stay as is, I'd say it'll be down to NY Jests and Bobo's on their side while Hobo, Penn, Pho, or River on our side. I'll go out and say that it'll be a..

Great call, Toonces! But you're so right about injuries—look at your season 10. Two of your 4 great players went down for a couple weeks at crunch time and just about did you in. And my Riverdogs lost both SFs as the season began and we had a slow start out of the gate for that reason. At least injuries are less sever than in the old days, but they're still too lengthy at times...And you're right about acquisitions too. The Jests have most of their most talented players up on the TL right now, so much will depend on that type of changes...I'll defer on picking conference finalists until things shake out a little more:-)

To start some discussion, I'd like to know where GM-Goon found the order to "foul [player] every time he takes a shot." I'd like to use it in some future games.

I think he's been a GM since we were in III.10 together seasons ago.

I still hate the fan formula. Lose by one point on the road to a rival, and 1.5* from those thankless jackasses.

Ha, I don't even bother looking at that anymore. Win and it takes care of itself. Of course having the boost last year from being in my first season of div II helped.
